A lovely comfortable cottage in excellent condition. It was well equipped and there was plenty of space for the four of us during our long weekend visit. A great location in an attractive Dales village. Lovely views over the river to the hills beyond from the dining room with a front garden to sit in if the weather is good. The Red Lion is just a few steps away and the popular tea room is close at hand too. There was plenty of space for clothes in the bedrooms which were refreshingly free of IKEA furniture. The beds were comfy too. Well placed for walks along the river Wharfe to Grassington, Hebden and Appletreewick. In the latter you must not miss the wonderful Craven Arms. All in all a great place to stay.

We love this place, stayed lots of times over the years. The perfect location in the heart of the village right on the river. Really good food so well cooked. There is a lovely seated area outside overlooking the river with beautiful views. The staff team are really good too, very polite and friendly. The rooms are always clean with a gorgeous comfy bed. We are going to try their cottage next and visit with our daughter and her two dogs. So welcoming. Love it.

We stayed last Saturday night and had pre-booked dinner. The hotel has a wonderful location set alongside the River Wharfe in beautiful countryside. The bedroom was olde worldy with a huge bathroom. There is an excellent terrace alongside the river, and as the weather was fantastic for sitting out it was very busy, but not uncomfortably so. The evening meal and the breakfast were both excellent and the staff were all helpful and very friendly. We will be back.
