Diana was a wonderful host! She’d made cake and bread for me when I arrived :) The setting is beautiful and the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Everything had been thought through to the tiniest detail.

Very unique decoration and beautiful tent. I would come back again. It had that really cosy feel. Host was great and provided logs for the cosy fireplace. Doesn’t need to be summer to enjoy the property

This is a quirky and charming rural stay run by a really hospitable and charming couple. Honest good traditional food in the dining room (with great country views) and well kept beer in the cosy bar downstairs. Comfortable bed and quiet with clean air! (Only wish we had many more like this left in the country)

The food for the evening meal and breakfast was delicious, home cooked and a good portion size. The room was quiet and comfortable despite being near a road. The pub itself had a very old and interesting bar. It was very cozy with the open fireplace too!

Great location (close to NT Stourhead). Charming old cottage - with lovely views of the owner's garden next door. Includes a parking space. Matt the owner was very helpful with advice on local places to eat. The cottage is one bedroom (not two) and the rooms are a decent size and unlike many old cottages the ceilings are a good height.
