Claire was a fantastic host, warm and attentive but left us to it - the full English breakfast was spot on. The house was beautiful and our room was spotlessly clean and spacious just as the photos advertised. We would love to return!

The cottage was delightful with its own character. It had everything we needed. The shower room was perfect with an amazing shower. Pretty little garden to sit in just outside your room. Breakfast was lovely made to order by Julie. Just what you need to set you off for a busy day exploring the local area. Set in a quiet area with a local bus stop just outside, where you can catch the local bus into Wells and Bath. Julie and David are such a lovely couple, very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. Helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Had a lovely 3 night stay, and was sad to leave.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Getting into the property with the lock box was very easy, the location was great, the cottage was very clean and cosy with comfy beds and the little touches such as the treats on arrival and the welcome card were very well received. Would definitely stay again!
Very unique decoration and beautiful tent. I would come back again. It had that really cosy feel. Host was great and provided logs for the cosy fireplace. Doesn’t need to be summer to enjoy the property
Lovely self contained studio apartment in rural surroundings. Very cosy and comfortable. Everything you need for a short break in the countryside. Beautiful views
It was a charming cottage which was warm for our arrival. Our host was very helpful when we asked to arrive early. The bedding supplied was lovely. There were plenty of towels.
This is a quirky and charming rural stay run by a really hospitable and charming couple. Honest good traditional food in the dining room (with great country views) and well kept beer in the cosy bar downstairs. Comfortable bed and quiet with clean air!
(Only wish we had many more like this left in the country)
The safari lodge was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. We also loved the location of the lodge and felt it was really good value for money! We had amazing stay and would definitely recommend.
The setting is absolutely charming. It feels entirely appropriate for a romantic getaway.
The design choices were very clever, particularly as it is such a compact space
The food for the evening meal and breakfast was delicious, home cooked and a good portion size. The room was quiet and comfortable despite being near a road. The pub itself had a very old and interesting bar. It was very cozy with the open fireplace too!
Great location (close to NT Stourhead). Charming old cottage - with lovely views of the owner's garden next door. Includes a parking space. Matt the owner was very helpful with advice on local places to eat. The cottage is one bedroom (not two) and the rooms are a decent size and unlike many old cottages the ceilings are a good height.
