Brilliant location and the free, dedicated parking space a very short walk away was a Godsend. Lots of places to eat and shop, and the bus station and Morrisons all easily walkable, yet it was quiet in the cottage.
It's a listed building so it's full of character.
The lights in the bedroom and on the stairs that come in when movement is detected we're really helpful.
The kitchen appliances are good and the only thing missing was somewhere to dry our washing, but the owner quickly provided us with a brand new indoor airer as he understood that in September, the weather isn't that great for drying clothes outside. And to be honest the space outside is tiny.
The lounge was comfortable and the TV was a good size.

This cottage is absolutely fantastic, spacious, cosy, clean, relaxing & a great location, 2 min walk to Challabrough beach. Beautiful walks over to Bigbury on Sea & across to Burgh Island, great views from the lookout tower at the top of the island. We also walked over to Aymer Cove afew times which is a spectator walk, at low tide it has the most amazing rock formations, huge cliff slates & fresh watercress growing in the stream which we added to our beach BBQ hotdogs. We booked into the beachside independent Fish & Chip shack at Challabough on our last night which was delicious. We paid for day passes to use the parks swimming pool which is 2 min walk from cottage. Kids loved it . We'll be back

The location and cabin was perfection for a blissful retreat. Decor was lovely and well thought out.. and the view was simply stunning. Everything you needed is there and the host kindly left some rolos on the bedside cabinet and some milk in the fridge. My wife found that very touching..well worth the trip.. we will be back to experience the other eco-cabins... Top job Richard and Donna
