It's worth staying if only for the view and peaceful location. Good size room very large comfortably bed. Excellent tv to relax with a movie after a day out exploring obviously when it's dark outside. Otherwise, just look at the view. Nothing compares to that. Excellent value for money. Given its location and beautiful surroundings, you get a little bit of heaven for a great price

Landing Cottage Guest House, hotel in Broughton in Furness

Colin was a great host, very welcoming and took an interest in the reason for our trip. We got the feeling that we could ask Colin anything and he would do what he could to help or offer advice to make our trip/stay better. Colin was very considerate in the room we were allocated too as my husband was competing in an ultra marathon so we were given a ground floor room. The location was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was great. Parking right outside the accommodation. We would recommend the property to others or book it again ourselves for future trips.

We booked two holiday cottages; one for a single adult and one for four adults. Everyone was delighted with everything. The cottages are comfortable, clean and offer all the facilities you could wish for. Jean and Claire who run the farm and the cottages are wonderful hosts. The location is superb if you like beautiful scenery, a bit of isolation from everyday life and the challenge of driving over the fells and up a long farm track to get there.
