Beautifully quiet spot in pretty quiet village. The house was delightful, full of character and beautiful things.! Breakfast, although vegetarian was truly excellent, best fruit salad, and perfectly toasted sour dough toast with a huge variety of preserves, plus great choice of cereals ad muesli. Hosts were warm and welcoming and we had use of the kitchen for drinks.
The house was spotless and our room pretty and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more!

Stayed in the 'shepherds hut' at the bottom of the garden. Quiet, pleasant space, with an effective heater and comfortable bed, fold down table, some plates etc and a lovely bathrobe provided (needed as you have to cross to different parts of the garden to wash or go to toilet). Nice little balcony entrance, up a few wooden stairs. It was cosy for one person but I think it would be too small for two, with little space for bags, hanging clothes, sitting. Other accomms on site were larger. Garden with play area would be great for children. There is a well equipped kitchen in a separate building for self catering.

Cosy, historic building with lots of character and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and efficient service. The bathrooms have been re-plumbed so you gain the benefits of a charming property with modern plumbing.
Cabin is furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Everything is provided- robes and towels for hot tub, towels for bathroom, coffee / tea / milk and cookies plus champagne and chocolates! The hosts attention to detail is quite stunning and the secluded location is just amazing.
We stayed at Marsh Farm over the weekend, just to get away from the busy Bristol. Absolutely a lovely place! Really friendly check-in, the cabin was warm and cozy - nicely decorated, and really tasty breakfast. Suzanne and her family are really welcoming and friendly. We were really impressed with the farm, Suzanne has taken her time to show us around. Also, we were lucky enough to witness the lambing as well. Overall, a lovely stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone who just looking for a lovely place to stay at.
A beautiful character pub with very friendly staff and very welcoming of our dog. Wonderful character aspects inside and out. The rooms are well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Ideal location near the M5 which makes it a perfect stop on the way to and from the West Country which was our purpose. Excellent food, lovely beer and cosy inside with a magnificent large fireplace. We will use The Bower Inn again as our gateway to the West Country!
