Everything was perfect - the best stay we’ve had for a long time. The house was lovely and in a great location - only 10 minutes walk from Aldeburgh but in a quiet road so no traffic noise. There was only two of us so plenty of space and everything was spotless. Lovely shower. Recommend booking dinner well in advance- we booked before our holiday. The Lighthouse restaurant is wonderful.

Roomy house and large garden terrace for outdoor meals in warm weather :)
House was larger than we expected.
The property seemed well managed; excellent comms from the management company. Nice touches of a home such as decor with local references.

The key safe was well hidden away but as we are both in our seventies bending low down to the key safe was a problem after a long journey in the car. We have a key safe at home so know how easy they are to work but I had to kneel down to see the numbers and there was a massive hollyhock grabbing me! Once open it was fine but my husband walks with a stick so this could have been a problem for us.

Beautifully presented cottage. Great for our family trip from Scotland. We were down staying in Aldeburgh and sailing at the yacht club. We have two small children aged 3 and 1. Cottage was well placed and easy walk into town and to the yacht club

It was very isolated with no one around which was perfect. We were very lucky to see monkjack deer in the morning. It was also the ideal location to visit family and other places of interest.

Very cosy cottage, just a short walk from the beach & the town centre, with 2 supermarkets for all that you'd need 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
Garden was a lovely haven & the summer house was the perfect place to read your book & enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day, i'm now looking at summer houses on line, i definitely need one in my life now.
Limited parking directly outside the cottage but we found parking very easily just around the corner. Would also recommend the Lighthouse for food, had a lovely meal there.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Parking was free at pub car park across the quiet road from the pub and could see the car from the lodge window. Room was warm enough for early October, heating didn’t come on. Free tea/coffee facility in lodge. Breakfast included cooked warm food which could be changed at request and wasn’t too greasy. Unlimited breakfast drinks and cereal. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was brilliant, a full English cooked one. The surrounds were rural and I loved the wild poppies. The pub is famous for its live music and so visitors might have enjoyed that. The Cabin type room where we stayed was far enough away not to be disturbed and the bird song early was lovely.
A good cooked English breakfast, though the addition of some fruit would be appreciated. Rooms in cabins away from the pub ensured a good night's sleep.
