Absolutely beautiful cottage, or ‘family suite’ as it is on Booking. Really comfortable living space. Excellent shower (something that makes a big difference for me). Lovely location, friendly staff, great restaurant. The belly pork was fantastic. Great value for money (although I booked last minute).

Loved Everything..Such a beautiful, peaceful place. The Lodge is furnished to a lovely high standard, very clean and equipped with everything you may need while you’re away. Have to say the bed is so comfy..had the most restful nights sleep. If walking is your thing there are so many places to explore. If you get a clear night you must check out the night sky quite a sight to behold. Hosts are so lovely, very knowledgeable about the area. Thank you for having us..absolutely loved our stay.

Theresa and Pete were there to welcome me. Both very welcoming and chatty. A pint of milk in the fridge waiting which is always handy. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Location is absolutely stunning with the horses and miles of scenery. Had a lovely relaxing stay, I'll definitely be back.

Lovely cottage with great facilities. Nice to have flowers, cake wine and, most of all, milk on arrival. Comfortable bed and appreciated having two TVs and a radio available. Although there was no parking on site it was easy to find a space on the street. The town had everything we needed.
