Beautiful, neat lodge with all possible facilities within. Very near to Bamburgh castle, Holy island and Berwick on tweed. Our host, John, was very accommodating. The lodge was very well kept and certainly met our expectations. Thank you, John!

The staff were very friendly during booking and at meals. They made our little girl feel special at breakfast when something she wanted had run out. The rooms were cosy and clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The inn is ideally located for Holy Island and Bamburgh etc being an old coaching inn on the Great North Road. During booking process the staff were very helpful to accommodate our disabled son.

Everything. The location away from the heart of a large holiday park....just what it says "unwind". Beautiful views, great walks round the lovely lake, and being dog friendly ideal for my furbaby. Best lodge I've ever used, comfy beds and proper ones in bedroom 2 which if you use would be as an adult comfy. Owner available if any issues, of which I had none. Clear arrival instructions ahead of getting there. Heating easily controlled for your own needs. Fab kitchen with cooking equipment if you fancy self catering.
