A wonderful place to stay for a Tudor Castle experience. Rooms are beautiful as were the surrounding gardens. Staff were welcoming and helpful, food was lovely, especially the English breakfast. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay and experience

Great location (Tintern Abbey, interesting places around to walk to too), nice view from our room (River Wye), Marta was really nice and her husband (we never saw him in person) is an excellent chef, wholly recommend the food (breakfast & dinner).

Absolutely stunning location with fabulous views and in a great area for mountain biking and walks. Plenty of parking. Lovely old barn conversion with plenty of space inside.
The king sized bed was comfortable so I think it must have been replaced since the comments about the bed being uncomfortable.
The owners were lovely and very helpful.

The most wonderful stay in Oakdean Cottage Yurt, we loved every minute. Super clean, beautifully decorated, the facilities were great and right next to the Forest of Dean. We would have loved to have stayed longer! Thank you for a perfect two days.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet location with easy access to woodland. Lovely artwork in every room, much of which was by a family member. Bridget was most welcoming and helpful, and quickly supplied us with extra glasses and other items when friends staying locally visited us. Very convenient for many places of interest.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Beautiful location. Cozy apartment in gorgeous stone farmhouse with amazing views. Extremely comfortable with all the amenities needed. Easy access to nearby towns for a range of good restaurants and pubs
What a find ! Cozy lodgings with a double bed and two singles, fantastic bathroom with shower, private driveway, entrance and parking. Balcony views across the little valley, TV, Microwave, Kettle & Toaster. Plenty of crockery and cutlery.
Put your used plates, bowls and utensils in the bowl provided and the owner will replace with fresh ones !
Honestly, not having to do the washing up makes all the difference - above and beyond our expectations.
The location, the layout, it was just idyllic and exactly what we needed. Excellent facilities, peaceful, comfortable. All the info we needed was available. It was the perfect destination for us.
Great location. Rural, quiet. Beautiful old mill. Lovely host. Plenty of books and games and toys for children.
Great shower room. Bedrooms are a good size and cosy.
Stunning, cosy and well equipped property, friendly host who communicated well with us prior to arriving. Great location with nice pubs within walking distance. Close enough to the motorways to be really convenient but the only noise you hear is birdsong and zero light pollution making for stunning night skies. Would recommend to anyone.
Just lovely! Fabulous location, the place was so cosy and welcoming & the small appliances provided were a bonus. Good selection of DVDs & games for a bit of entertainment. A couple of great pubs very close too! Highly recommend.
