Gite de Murat, a property with a tennis court, is situated in Murat, 49 km from Aurillac train station, 49 km from Aurillac Congress Centre, as well as 50 km from Cantal Auvergne Stadium.

It was a traditional French town house which we found to be absolutely charming. The owners have preserved many of the original features of the house which added to its charm and authenticity .

Classically French. Wood panelling, spirally staircase. Bedroom - tastefully decorated. Very, very comfortable bed. Spectacular views over the roof tops and the countryside beyond. En-suite modern, very good walk-in shower. Absolutely delicious breakfast - organic local cheeses, ham, yogurt. Home-made jams. Central location near to restaurant and landmarks. Fabienne was lovely. She spoke fluent English and made everyone very welcome.

The hotel was in a great location and was furnished in keeping with its age and style. The host was charming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, regional, and accommodating of my wife's gluten and dairy intolerance.
