Wonderful location in a beautiful town. Cmfortable rooms in an old house, furnished in an antique style. Very friendly reception by charming hosts. A lovely breakfast.
What an enchanting place! It was like being in a cozy attic at Hogwarts and such comfortable beds and sofa. We LOVED all the little treasures around the place and watched a Harry Potter movie on the comfy leather sofa. The place had everything we needed plus more! The owners were so helpful and kind (over phone and text) and did everything to make our stay an exceptional one. Thank you!
Delightful and peaceful location and very charming staff who made us feel exceptionally welcome. Good lounge bar with comfy seating. Good food and very generous breakfast.
The hotel is situated in the forest, along a stream. It looks beautiful. When weather is fine, theu serve dinner at the terrace, which is a very romantic setting. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help.
The apartment was incredibly well appointed, and of course- Harry Potter themed! It was cozy, charming, and located right in the heart of Avallon, with plenty of restaurants and shops within minutes of the apartment.

The location is perfect for an overnight stop when travelling across france. The hotel is in town but set in a garden / small forest that makes you feel you are in the middle of the countryside. Easy walk into town to explore before we continued our journey. Access to kitchenette / fridge was handy. Breakfast was good with an array of pastries, cereal and some fresh fruit.
