We loved everything about the property. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The mountains, the jungle, the impressive amount of beautiful birds, the milder temperature and everything about this place is just unbelievable; like a dream come true. The reserve has different cabanas located alongside the mountain side. They’re all quaint, unique and full of charm. Every single part of the location is well taken care of. The staff is hard working, kind and always ready to offer help with whatever is crossing your mind at the moment. We had certain issues regarding our room at first and they moved heaven and earth so we could be more comfortable and happy. Greys has always a smile on her face and was always there for us same as the rest of her team. Food was very good, breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Their menu is varied and with plenty of options, although we would’ve liked to have more local dishes. Can’t talk about food or kitchen without mentioning Carlitos, the guy is a genius, everything he made was well seasoned, yummy and plentiful. We can’t recommend him enough, if he’s cooking the day you’re there, you’re in for a treat. And last but not least, we loved all the extra activities you can do while in the reserve, there are cacao tours (super informative and yummy), coffee tours and several waterfalls in the vicinity. We were never bored although you could always stay on one of the multiple hammocks that there are throughout the property and relax listening to the the birds, looking at the stunning sunsets or just enjoying your favorite book.

Working kitchen with good cooking equipment and kept clean. Nice gas barbecue on the balcony too. Be aware, this lovely cabin is and hour drive from Minca, way up high and very secluded. So make sure to bring enough food, water and drinks to last you, as each trip into town and back can add up costs. Approx 150000cop per journey in a 4x4

a perfect getaway tucked up in the mountains surrounding Minca! Such kind hosts that take great care to make you feel welcome and cared for. Magnificent sunset views, tranquil nature, and unlimited coffee and hot chocolate were definitely my highlights. It is a ways up the hill from town, but you can either enjoy the hike or catch a Moto for around 15,000 COP. Personally I loved the Moto rides, and feel like Minca should be enjoyed in the mountains, so it was absolutely worth it for me! Highly recommend this authentic, unique property
