The room we had was in a quiet area. The fireplace, once we got it working, was a nice touch.

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. We love Orillia and the location of the hotel at the waterfront is great for people who can walk distances because just about everything is walkable. However, with the ongoing construction and road closures it makes it difficult to navigate the city even for people who are familiar with the many charming aspects of the city.

This idyllic, charming home was exactly what we needed as a break from our hectic lives. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere near the shores of Lake Simcoe. The hosts, Patti and John, were attentive and endearing, preparing delectable breakfasts each day. They even serenaded us with beautiful songs when we were leaving. We are so sorry they won't be there after the summer. We would have returned.
