Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The room was nicely equipped with a microwave, larger fridge, coffee maker with tea/coffee. The room was a good size and was extremely clean. I liked the idea of the pool, sauna and hot tub but didn’t have time to use them as I was there for the Alice Munro Writers Festival and quite busy.
I have stayed in this hotel several times and this is my and my wife's favorite place to spend a night on hiking trips in the Provincial Parks on the lake (during the months when it is too cold for camping). We like the pool and the sauna. The breakfast is light but it is nice to have it included, to have something to eat before leaving the hotel.
The property was awesome and so were the staff. I had an amazing spa experience with Shannon. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were great! And dinner at the Ivey dining room was delicious 😋
Its a beautiful location and a charming, rustic building with plenty of history. It's unique. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely.
Very clean place, pool/sauna/hot tub impressive, easy check in, comfortable beds, housecoats and slippers were a nice touch. Fridge and microwave provided and were stocked with bottled water and cans of pop. Vending maching provided more drinks and snacks, also an ice machine! Lovely outside area to sit.
Beautiful gardens.. continental breakfast exceeded expectations..nice big and clean room..salt water pool and hot tub and sauna are a nice option.
