We had a wonderful stay, the room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Loved the decor of the whole house and the fireplace was so cosy to sit at. Breakfast was also really good and we had wonderful service from Andrew, Charmaine and all staff.

We had a great stay at one oak guest house. I was competing in a golf event 5 minutes away so the location was perfect. The bed was very comfy and the hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Fresh milk for tea and coffee making facilities, cleans towels daily and suggestions of where to visit. Will stay again for sure!

Somerset West is well situated, Cape Town is easily accessible as is the Airport, the N2 allows good travel options in all directions and the R44 to Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Paarl etc.The area has an excellent selection of restaurants and a fantastic selection of wineries most of which also have excellent restaurants on offer, prices are usually cheaper in Somerset West than CT.
Most importantly there are 7 golf courses within 10 miles.

Great location to explore Stellenbosch, Franshhoek, Paarl and Hermanus. Cape town is only a 40 minute drive away and airport is jus 25 minutes travel.
Excellent local restaurants and vinery options within 30 minutes' drive on safe roads.
Strand beach is 10/15 minutes' drive from SW, so a walk on the beach is easy to allow you to relax. Parking is easy - weekends a bit busier.
What a beautiful property overlooking the whole of Somerset West, the views were just breathtaking. My room was lovely and cosy with an added bonus of a fireplace. The staff and host were so helpful and friendly, dinner was amazing set in a lovely cabin feel dinning area. I had a early check out and the staff/host were so accommodating with breakfast before I left. Just wished I had the time to go on some of the walks available on the beautiful secure estate.
Boutique Villa was exceptional in every manner.
The rooms was spacious and my wife doesn't sleep over easily, but even her reaction on how well she slept and rested was over the moon.
Our children enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfasts.
We gladly would return with a bigger part of family and can't wait to use the self catering house they have on the premises

The bedroom was spacious with great facilities. Dresser, wardrobe, bedside tables and tea/coffee stocked up regularly including gorgeous shortbread biscuits!

The apartment is fitted with all the equipment required for a self catering stay. The kitchens utensils are are from the best brands available. The furniture is stylish and comfortable. The estate borders a wildlife reserve and the quiet and privacy guarantees a restful stay. The hot tub on the open deck was especially nice.
This was a delightful breakaway less than an hour away from the centre of Cape Town. Delicious breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant (The Eatery) where we had a function the evening before presented us with the most delicious food and wine. The lodge is in a beautiful part of Somerset West!
Breakfast was excellent . Staff we’re friendly and very helpful. The hotel management was carrying and helpful during the load shedding. This is my first choice when visiting the Cape. The gardens are well managed and as a garden lover a pleasure to walk in. An enjoyable memorable visit.
Stayed at 'On Sandstone' about 7 years ago and once again largely enjoyed the experience. While not up to standards of our earlier visit, the homely bedroom had character with a great view of Somerset West. The hosts also provided excellent breakfasts.
Lovely guest house in an established suburb with beautiful big trees. Good location with easy access to Somerset West, the R44 and Stellenbosch and the N2. Beautifully decorated room, very clean, serviced every day, comfortable bed with nice linen.
Loved the attentiveness. After the first day they knew what room we were in, that my wife needed all gluten free food, very friendly, went out of there way to make everything great. I would rate this hotel the best I have stayed at.

The host is very friendly and helpful with advice & tips for the area. As we were new to the area she gave lots of help on various shopping alternatives. This is a self catering establishment.
The hosts were absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The location is in a beautiful part of Somerset West and the property itself is amazing! I couldn't fault this stay if I tried.
