It is a great location--however, travellers should plan their trip accordingly due to several, but not lengthy hold-up with a stop & go as they are resurfacing the roads. The new road will only be completed early 2025.

St Helena Bay is a small community. Just love the friendliness of people . the only thing was when we visited Algera restaurant, the kitchen closed at 08pm which means that we had to go to dinner earlier and dont have a full bar service. other than that. it was all good.

There is very little attraction from a tourism perspective...
There is very little attraction from a tourism perspective and I would not go back to this region. Instead I would stay in Paternoster should I decide to return to the West Coast. As an area it does require some development to bring people into the region.

It was so nice we went back the next day.
Beach trips and walking is great.
Peacefull, and so relaxing - we had nice braai's (barbeque for the english) at Wildcard.
Nice fishing spots.
We even explored the sand roads and a place where one can make an appointment and buy Abalone.
SPAR is well equipped with all you need and excellent steak for braai.
I am in love with this place.

St Helena Bay has just about everything one needs to cut off, unwind and recharge. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The views are breathtaking. JP's Pub & Grill has the most amazing food and does takeways as well, Picapizza at the Harbour lights Spar Centre has the most delicious and affordable pizzas and of course Alegria restaurant never disappoints. The beach along with different coves and bays are unspoilt and clean. Truly a remarkable place to relax and unwind.

The agents are absolutely great human beings! I left my cloud nine and I honestly thought I would never see it again. I called the agent she went back to the place, found it and delivered to me. I would definitely be back to stay at this place.
I loved how clean and spacious the property was. The hosts where an absolute delight, do ask them to recommend places to visit in the area. Everything you need is honestly available. I also loved the views. you can see the ocean so clearly and vividly. It is the best place to go for peace and quiet and wonderful relaxation.
The Hotel is beautifully decorated , the ambiance is inviting and tropical with all the extra effort to the detail of the decor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The accommodation and facilities are clean, comfortable and definitely value for money.
