My stay was regrettably too short; I truly wish I could have extended it. Port Elizabeth is vastly underrated, offering an abundance of activities. I yearned for a longer holiday, ideally spanning five days! The city is breathtaking, with its friendly people, pristine cleanliness, and refreshing ambiance.

Professional yet warm and friendly hosts that made us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the facilities are exactly what we wanted. Much attention to safety and environmental aspects that provide a sense of security and serenity.
Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Thank you Tommy and Leonie ❤️

Port Elizabeth is a beautiful coastal city with miles of beaches and is true to its nickname the Friendly City. The older parts in Central have stunning views and buildings but unfortunetaly the local government has allowed it to become neglected, uncared for and in some places dangerous. What a pity, as the old centre with its harbour views and gracious historical buildings should be the gem of the city.
That said, there are still other places worth a visit as property owners in the central area really make an effort to keep their properties well maintained and in the spirit of what it used to be.
There are many restaurants and my favourites are the local ones, each with their own vibe and unique menus. I just love Port Elizabeth.

Gqeberha to give its official name is a fairly relaxed place as largish cities go. It has great beaches though you need to be prepared for windy weather that can reduce the fun of being on a beach.
There is a lot of history, with interesting sites to visit. Also some great food options.
It is not the country’s top tourist hot spot but has plenty of attractions that are in any case better enjoyed without a massive crowd.
This was the best stay in Port Elizabeth - very beautiful small hotel, minutes away from the water. Everybody was so welcoming and they offered help for everything. Just an amazing staff in a perfect hotel. They made my stay so comfort
My room was bright and spacious, with a separated seating area and a modern bathroom with a rain shower and free standing tub.
And I must say… the attention to detail of the staff and their kindness were amazing. I didn’t want to leave and I would definitely come again!
I didn't reach the accommodation bcz the Google map gave me a wrong address, so I have to drive back home, the person who was contacting me says the address we found on google map was a old address. He said I must make a turn I said I can't, can I arrange for another day cz it's late now and I can't drive back to port elizabeth again in 1 day, he said to no they can't help me the other guests come using the same Google map. I lost my money just like that.
The swift act showed by one of the receptionists who welcomed us before the arrival time on Friday 9 February with a very willing attitude to help, 👌👌. So sad that I forgot his name but he knows himself. He managed to change the room for us due to problems we encountered during the first night with his heart of willingness to help.
The hotel is one of the hotels we always prefer to use when we visit PE so we enjoy it there.
Keep it up guys!
Our room was spacious, clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Leonie and her staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Lemon Tree Lane, and will stay there again when I next travel to Port Elizabeth.
The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, and any questions we had were answered immediately. We made use of the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent. The beachfront in front of the hotel was awesome and the path I ran on in the morning was in excellent condition. All round superb stay.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the location quiet despite being close a a major hospital and center. Excellent breakfast and communication regards check-in. Always try to book here when needing to stay in Port Elizabeth.
I like the location of the Hotel. I like the pool and breakfast set-up. I like the sea views and I like the Hotel in general which is within walking distance to most entertainment facilities on the beachfront.
The hotel is ideally based near the beach and the city centre.
The staff was extrenely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was nice and had a variety of food from a warm breakfast to cereals.
Very nice, clean and comfortable room ideally located in port Elizabeth.
Despite being so close to the airport the place is actually like it's own bubble of peace and quietness!
I loved the cleanliness. All the basics were there to make the self catering stay more pleasant and enjoyable. I absolutely loved everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️keep it up team!
Charming, old style , but updated hotel. Across the road from Summerstrand beaches, down the road from some excellent restaurants. I go back all the time.
