The hosts, Judy and Gerald, were fantastic. Nothing was too much and they were always on hand to help. The rooms were well appointed and despite issues with power and water affecting Port Elizabeth, Wagtails is set up to ensure this doesn't impact your stay. Incredible view of soaring ocean waves right on the water in comfortable room. Very personable, kind and accommodating host Paul, who recommended an excellent local spot for dinner called Barnacles (also right on the ocean with a lovely view) Close to the airport, only about 20-25 min away which was perfect for our early morning flight the next day. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again (especially given you cannot beat the price)!

Cilliers and Henk do their utmost to make you feel welcome and safe. They are incredibly helpful and full of good advice. The guesthouse is well located within a short walk of the seafront boardwalk where we enjoyed a three mile early morning stroll. . Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We also used the poo,l which was most welcome on a humid 35c day. Breakfast was excellent.
