The house is a impressive and very clean. Every need more than catered for. Even during loadshedding. The location is perfect. Great sightings from the comfort of the house.

Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around.
Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around. I loved the wild life the most, it was pleasant view to watch the birds and animals roaming around freely. The staff at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Wish I had more time to give a constructive review but went to the park for just half a day and managed to see some of the big 5 which was the purpose of my visit.

Pastana still remains for me the most affordable best and well managed accommodation in Malelane.
The Restuarant always meet my expectation of the wide spread of eats available.
Malelane is very easy to navigate. It has all the amenities to accommodate a travelers needs
The town is very clean .
I would avoid accommodation I have not visited before. A picture tell a thousand tales. But some can be very deceiving and uncomfortable.

Malelane town is totally unappealing.
Malelane town is totally unappealing. The only reason for staying in the suburb we stayed in was a) it is outside the town and b) is close to the Kruger Park entrance. We stayed in Mhlathikop suburb, which is nice and can be recommended.

Trying to find a contact person with regards to the booking is impossible.
Sometimes in real life, things happen totally out of your control like COVID that was a world wide epidemic and how do a person handle a situation like this?
I just had no contact number from Booking.com to assist us and lost the money. This will make me think twice next time I want accommodation

We were pleasantly surprised to see animals from the Kruger National Park across the Crocodile River as soon as we opened the patio door upon arrival!!! The view was spectacular!
It was not very busy during our stay, and the staff frequently asked if we needed anything, whenever they saw us.
We did not spend a lot of time at the premises, since we spent our time in the Kruger Park.
Appreciated the aircon in the room after a long, hot day!
The location is calming and surreal. The staff is amazing. The food is beautiful and tasty. The Chalets are lovely with a large bath and shower and a 270 degree view from the big bed. Restaurant area is wonderful with a bar, pool and lovely seating. We spotted buck, giraffes, butterflies, monkeys and more within the property. Kruger National Park Malelane gate is about 10 mins away excluding the time to drive the dirt road.
It was a self catering set-up. One of the best vacation in terms of accommodation, the rooms, Wi-Fi and the interior décor was perfect very relaxing. we are surely going to visit again. Our aim was to visit the Kruger National park and the Malelane gate was a few minutes away. a variety of food outlets and supermarket were at our disposal. We were able to use the braai facility and the pool. .
I loved the look and feel of the place, it's quite secluded area, it was peaceful. The owners were very excellent hosts too.
Since it's a self catering, I liked that the shopping center is not that far off. But like us, we love Woolies food, so I advice you buy some very necessary supplies before heading to Malelane. Overall, we had an amazing Baecation there.
The staff bring the meals to enjoy in the comfort of your own patio. The staff are obliging and friendly. Anzelle is outstanding. The fires and candles are lit for you. The view overlooking the crocodile river into the Kruger National Park is spectacular! The animals coming to drink while we sipped wine is surreal! Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!
Close to the river bank on the crocodile river, with fantastic views. A herd of elephants visiting us on our last evening. Close to the Kruger gate At Malelane.
Breakfast on the deck overlooking the river with its great bird life and hippos and crocodiles a great way to start our day.
An absoloute pleasure to stay and we will go back for sure. Views are excellent overlooking the river into Kruger park. About 8km from Malelane gate and super friendly staff. Breakfasts and dinners were great value for money and super well prepared. swimming pool is very well kept.
Contacted by WhatsApp to tell me about New Years Eve celebrations. Staff & management made a real effort.
Food outstanding and very good value.
Location outstanding overlooking Kruger.
I've eaten here on 2 previous visits but first time I've stayed here. Would recommend.
was an easy check-in, and very hospitable host.
The location is excellent in Malelane, close to all amenities but private as well, and close to the Kruger park.
We departed early, and the host offered to prepare a breakfast pack - which was very kind of them.
Both Dinner and Breakfast was really nice.
The view was amazing. Looking over the crocodile river into the Kruger Park was great as that is where our holiday started.
The staff was really friendly and made you feel at home. They are very accommodating.
Seemless check in as we had stayed previously. Has all we need prior to entering Kruger National Park, ie, Freezer for meat supplies, very handy for the local Spar. Very quiet location and only 10 minutes from Malelane Gate.

Very fun hotel with a lot of history. Location on the Crocodile river made for wonderful sunsets and animal viewing. This is a great place to start your trip into Kruger National Park.
On the banks of the Crocodile River - it felt like you were IN the Kruger Park. Super comfortable thatch lodge that feels warm and inviting. I could have spent a month there.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. This is the place you want to be if you are using the Kruger Malelane Gate. Also a great place to just relax on the deck.
Chalets look out over Crocodile river and Kruger park, we saw so many animals just sitting on our stoep. Lovely comfortable beds and linen. Well Equipped kitchen.
