Great location. Amazing food. Peace of mind. Beautiful place. Love the wine. The food though 😍, from breakfast to dinner, it was really good. Oh and the staff is very friendly and very welcoming. I felt welcomed from the moment I entered the property. The guys at the gate were so nice and made us comfortable.

I had a good stay but get home to an email billing me for damages to linen that was already damaged when I arrived. 2 little tears / holes at the top of the duvet cover, I even remarked on it to my friend.

We arrived in Krugersdorp on the 2nd of December for our booking. There was a special arrangement to book in at 12PM on the day, as we were heading to a wedding in the afternoon. However, as we arrived at the designated address, 21 Hugo Street, Krugersdorp, there was no one to meet us.
We waited more than 30 minutes before a staff member came up the road to greet us. The room at 21 Hugo was just as advertised in the pictures. However, the staff member (Vuma) told us that the owner of Shekhinah lodge decided to move us to another house address. There was zero communication with us about this arrangement, and we were forced to drive to another address on De Wet street.
As we arrived at the new address, we were forced to stay with several other individuals in the same house. Besides the fact that the pictures and amenities on the booking were misleading, the room was small and uncomfortable. However, we were running late for the wedding and had to get ready.
When we arrived at the address after the wedding at midnight (as arranged), we were stuck outside the gate for nearly an hour. The Pincode for the gate we were given was wrong. A professional would have all the details (including access) communicated clearly. The owner did not attempt to apologize for his misconduct, I presume as long as he is awarded the non-refundable booking fee, he paid no mind.
Suffice it to say we couldn't even sleep and left as soon as the sun rose. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The place was extremely beautiful, peaceful. The pictures is exactly as the listing but doesn't do it any justice it's just very beautiful and spacious. No noise and it's as if you stay in your own house. Cradestone mall is 5 Min away and you don't have a problem with getting Bolt or Uber.

The most thing we liked the most is the heat inside the room because it was very cold and rain that day. My wife enjoyed the warm water of the jacuzzi, she was very happy. thanks guy we will be there soon 🥰
We never had breakfast because we left for the Kruger Park early every morning so the lodge provided us every morning with an amazing food basket to take into the park.
The rooms are absolutely amazing, the only downfall was the location of the property as it is in a residential area and can not compare to hotels located in Tourits areas. The property is 15 mins drive from the Pabeni Gate at Kruger National Park which is very convenient
Their reception, the quality coffee we had before breakfast and the breakfast itself was superb👌, they made us feel at home, the cleaniness of the whole area in and out, comfortabiliy of theirs beds, their security, All tops.

Excellent breakfast bright and early in the morning. If you're lucky you could spot animals just outside the property, we managed to see giraffes as well as ostriches. The room was warm and the shower / hot tub worked wonders during the cold. Staff were very helpful and very kind, the braai (barbeque) area provided us with the exact tools required to make a delicious meal.
We absolutely loved Fleur de Lis! Out of all the guesthouses in this area we have been too, this one is by far the best. Hester and Maria makes you feel so welcome and at home. The room is very luxurious and has everything you need for a night away. Breakfast was out of the ordinary and a pleasant surprise. Would definitely be returning in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay at Protea Cottage! The cottage was clean, comfortable, peaceful and had all the necessary amenities one would need during a stay. Dalene was incredibly welcoming and hospitable and I highly recommend Protea Cottage for anyone looking to stay in Krugersdorp.
What a wonderful stay in Krugersdorp at the Rabit Hole. The Owner, All the staff and especially Frieda was great. Lovely breakfast every day. All our washing was done when we needed. Parking was good and safe. Thanks a million!!!! Money well spent.
Value for money. Suited us for the purpose that we needed accommodation ie a wedding close by and we do not know the area at all. Safe parking. Car could be right outside our door. Owners very friendly and helpful but also let us just be.

I usually don't visit the same hotel twice but this one will definitely see me again very soon. The suite is very nice and big. It's in a quiet neighborhood and there are a few restaurants within 5 km.
The Honeymoon suite was very cosy and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a winner. The 5 course dinner was outstanding. Perfect place to spend time as a couple, the hotel is specifically for couples :)

Beautiful peaceful lodge bordering Krugersdorp Game reserve. You can hear the lions roaring in the morning. Luxurious rooms with really comfy bed. Great value for money
