I don't know where to start! The Alpaca Chalet was an expirence and a half and worth every penny. Not only is the place clean but it also is placed beautifully on the land, in the mornings you can sit in your hot tub (which stays warm for hours) and watch the sun come up from between the trees. If you're lucky, you'll find yourself a companion in the free roaming bucks and chickens.
The animals were an added bonus, and with a sore heart, we left quite attached to Zoey (Zebra) and her pen pals Thumper and Chaos (Alpacas) .
The place was tranquil and quiet. Anet and her husband made it their mission to make sure everyone was happy and attended to while giving us privacy and free reign of the whole property.
The bath was superb, and the hot tub outside was easy to use - if you can make a fire with wood, you're good to go!
Please remember to bring the piggies and zoey apples and don't forget the carports for the Alpacas.

Owners were very accommodating and were very nice. The home itself was very clean, neat and private. The home was perfect for us as 2 couples, an additional adult, a toddler and an infant. The pool was lovely as well. The outdoor area was safe and the view was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Beautifull property. The Domes were bright, clean and spacious, equipped with everything you could need for a breakaway from your busy everyday lives. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing, would recommend 10/10.

Beautiful, peaceful. The lodge is a great place to stay for a family. Kids were running outside. Top notch facility. But we were initially booked in the cabin, which is comfortable, but much more rustic and difficult to access.

This is a stunning place to stay. Beautiful views. Beautiful presentation of meals. The meal baskets were unexpected but worth it after a long days drive. Comfy rooms. Fresh air. Mountain views. We were only supposed to stay one night. We stayed 2 nights. Staff are friendly and very helpful

It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

It's a lovely little spot and well kitted for kids. They have a few animal farms, Alcapas, a zebra and a herd of springbok that roam around freely. That was super nice!
We loved our space, it felt quite private (Songbird). It was not luxurious but it was definetely nice and comfortable. If camping isn't your thing that you should give this a try!

The outdoor forest feeling, fresh air, hot tub and well put together tent, and small little comforts.
The peaceful calm surroundings were absolutely fantastic.
We were so impressed, it made our time away even more special.
The Hostess was very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. The tents and facilities were well kept and clean. The extra services that were offered and suggested - Absolute GOLD - Thank You Very Much Otium!!!
