In a private nature reserve so we saw lots of animals just driving to the lodge! Such as buffalo, wild pigs etc

The room itself was modern, had AC (very important in this hear!)
The outdoor shower is truly magical.
And of course the food was really delicious
You cannot go wrong picking this place for a luxurious bush safari experience.

Lot's of wild life to view even when driving in. A variety of lodges available. What could be better is the path/road leading into the lodge as it's not tarred and has many steep inclines which

Best gate to enter Kruger from the lodge is Orpen. Great attraction close by, Hoedspruit Rehabilitation Centre where they breed Cheetah, incredible experience.

Very rural - unmade roads make the journey very bumpy.
Very rural - unmade roads make the journey very bumpy. I would only travel with professional guides/drivers as they have the vehicles to cope. Did a night safari in the reserve which was amazing - saw lots of animals at night. Went outside of the reserve for the main safaris to see the big 5.
