A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
Lovely hotel in a beautiful country town, ringed by mountains. Perfectly situated to explore the town of Greyton and local restaurants are literally 2mins walk away.
Large room; super comfy, king-sized bed; quality linen; and a free-standing bath (big enough for two).
Fantastic breakfast served every morning until 11 with GREAT COFFEE.
Friendly proprietors and staff, who made us feel truly welcome and special.
The property was, as quite normal for Greyton, next to a gravel road which could become a bit noisy at night but it was in easy walking distance to the hub of Greyton (a few mins walk) it was a cute very clean cottage. although long periods of load shedding that is currently a huge problem for all areas, the cottage was well equipped with a gas hob and plenty of LED lights so wasn't really effected
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
It was the perfect location, serene and peaceful, for a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a beautiful renovated, well equipped farmhouse, Wildevy

beautiful lodge with the most beautiful views and garden. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. They gave a complimentary bottel of wine with a card for my girlfriend’s birthday ! will definitely stay there every time we go to Greyton !
We went to Greyton to wander around the Rose & Garden Fair. When we arrived we were greeted by Chloe who was amazing and so friendly. She put out some beautiful bouquets of flowers for our arrival. The house was well equipped and very clean.
The host, Andrew, is incredible and made my wife and I comfortable from the first moment we walked in. The location is serene and compliments the small town of Greyton perfectly. The breakfast was wonderfully presented and greatly enjoyed!
Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
The interior design and landscaping at Greyton Lodge are beautiful and well curated. The breakfast is also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally good and also worked during loadshedding.
The staff kindly prepared breakfast to take away the next morning as we hiked the Greyton to McGregor trail. They also looked after our luggage whilst we hiked, and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
Absolutely loved the stay at Old Potters Inn. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean. Value for money. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Greyton area.
