Business visit in the area and was recommended to stay here. Enjoyable stay. Rooms were simple, effective and clean. The restaurant and bar on site had good menu choices and was enjoyable. Staff were friendly. Lucky enough to see a hippo in the river behind the lodge which was an added bonus!

I liked the fact that it is away from civilization into the wild but very safe. We could connect easily with nature and have our quiet time. The experience at night is amazing ..all you can hear are animal sounds an experience we never get with our busy schedules. An amazing reminder of what God has created, peace and tranquility. Seeing the animals was amazing . We prepared food ourselves it was amazing. It's very easy to get around Gravelotte..we were constantly communicating with the hosts. I would avoid having a short stay and book for the whole week. It's worth it. Thank you sooooo much for the excellent service and breathtaking stay. We are definitely coming back. Keep up the amazing service. God bless you.

We arrived after 7pm, but was still greeted with a smile. Within minutes the administration was finalized and we were on our way to the chalet. Since we left at around 5am the following morning, they arranged for some toasted sandwiches and juice to take away since we were too early for breakfast. Would recommend them to other travelers.

Beautiful Lowveld scenery and wildlife, game farms, game breeding projects, Leydsdorp baobab and historical mining sites. The Murchison view game farm and cottage are incredible. The hoss are super friendly and the cottage is immaculate, tastefully decorated and homely. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil place to escape and relax from city life then Murchison View Cottage is for you. Onsite activities are a must and absolutely incredible. My stay was way to short but stunning and I will definitely be back soon!

The warmest welcome from the management from the time we arrived hot chocolate at the reception on a cold weather was the best. This was a true home away from home. The entire staff great with a big smile that makes you feel at home. The chef and different serving areas in romantic style was brilliant, his food was the best, Bongani is the best chef, who takes his time to come and talk to the guest just to understand the guest taste and preference in food. Bongani was the best, all housekeeping needs and serving times, suggestion on places to visits was spot on. This hotel is the best the Province, I encourage travellers to visit this place , grate value for money. I will definitely visit again.
