Everything from booking to leaving was exceptional! Nick and Dena go out of their way to make it the perfect stay. We were there for a wedding and were incredibly busy. They were so accommodating and friendly. So many sweet touches and a home filled with love. I would recommend Weavers cottage as the PERFECT holiday spot.

We know Gordons Bay very well as we used to own a property there. It's a quiet delightful village with 2 fabulous beaches, a few great restaurants and bars as well as a working harbour.
In nearby Strand village, there is a fabulous fine dining restaurant 'De Brasserie' owned by a local Belgian family of wine producers - utterly stupendous!

We saw krystal beach hotel being rebuilt ftom the old one.Always promised ourselves a stay one day but never did until now.However we often called for coffee. My wife thought it was the nicest birthday surprise ever.so that made it all worth while.

The views of the sea from the hotel were exceptional, the hotel was situated in a clean and safe area. Close to amenities, restaurants and the beach , hotel service was great (the lunch and dinner service of the restaurant is a bit slow but the food is good) . I’d definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great location for beautiful views and boat rides, plus whale watching in winter. Easy access to the Elgin region for wine farms, Somerset West and Stellenbosch. Alternatively take a ride along the coast to Betty's Bay, the penguins and Hermanus. Stay 2/3 nights and explore this beautiful part of the Western Cape.

A gem hidden just outside the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. A very lovely getaway that allows the perks of being near the tranquil beach while still having amenities very close by.
It’s a nice break from the city.
Blue Skies is very well situated in Gordons Bay, easy to get to and very close to the sea front. What was so good was that every little thing one might need in a Bed and Breakfast hotel had been supplied, it was so thoughtful too. Seriously good cooked breakfast and so much else on the buffet from juices to cereals,yogurt, toast, jams, a selection of teas and coffees and many other things. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
I Loved the pool most definitely. All of us especially the children did. The apartment was really spacious. They had solar power when it was load shedding. The most beautiful sunsets and what's an added bonus, was the ocean. You can see the beach from the apartment. So it was best of both. Nature and sea. Kim was amazing and very helpful and super friendly. Will most definitely be back.
This was my second stay at 185 on Beach and this time was pleasantly surprized with an upgrade from the original room I had reserved. Thank you so much Jeanette. And once again Dastan delivered world class service together with the rest of the team on the property. Kudos to you all. This is the sort of hospitality and service that will take me back to 185 on Beach over and over again.
Accomodation is spacious and well furnished. Bedrooms are large and comfortable.
The balcony and dining room overlook the beach, which is about 20 m from the front door. The area is secure and feels safe to walk around even at night.
The braai (barbecue) area at the back is closed off with enough seating for a large family.
The beach is clean.
The location was perfect being a stone throw away from the beach and close to restraunts. The views from the apartment watching the breathtaking sunset from your balcony is beautiful. It's a great getaway spot for family and I absolutely loved that both bathrooms had chrome wall mounted bidets.My kids loved being there.
Everything!!! Michelle was super host, always available and the apartment was sparkling clean, extraordinary view, super comfy sofas, amazing pool and it felt like home not a cold hotel room. Top quality and solar powered!! I can't wait to go back when it will be available!!!! Absolutely LOVED it!
Excellent house. Very clean. Modern fittings in kitchen and bathrooms and well maintained. Location right on the beach with own private steps down to the sea and beachfront. Check-in was superb and personal by the host. Well explained and not rushed. DStv and WiFi were good.

We loved everything about our stay, from the friendly staff, to the comfy rooms, beds and dreamy bath. The pool area and gym was awesome. The Halal breakfast by aunty Aziza is always amazing. Not forgetting the breathtaking views.

We were welcomed very friendly although we arrived quite late in the evening. A wonderful breakfast was prepared for us in the morning. The close location to the beach offered the opportunity for a nice morning walk.
