Ballito is a vibrant & developing family beach destination.

Ballito is a vibrant & developing family beach destination. Sadly power outages (which is to say it is not loadshedding) is a huge let down for such a popular tourist destination! When booking - please check the rating & ensure cleanliness of the accommodation coupled with back up power is paramount to ensuring a pleasant stay!

It was returning to our home from home. Everything lovely and clean, fresh linens and towels. Cold water on tap in the fridge and small touches like a coffee/tea tray and a small thank you gift. Loved the ambiance, the view absolutely beautiful and peaceful

    1. Luggage collation from reception and collection from the rooms when checked out was well organized. 2. Having someone to take the car to parking and back to reception was also great as I am physically challenged. 3. Size of the rooms and cleanliness met our expectations

Ballito is our city of choice to stay on the north coast...

Ballito is our city of choice to stay on the north coast because it’s close to Durban but not TOO close. They have a really fabulous array of quality restaurants, coffee shops (and shops in general). Very nice vibe & decor at Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Ballito beaches get very busy in Summer (there’s some fantastic tidal pools to swim in). During weekends and especially during summer and anywhere near November/ December/ January… it gets way too noisy & crowded for OUR liking. But for extroverted, party-loving types - it may suit them perfectly. We appreciate the effort Ballito council goes to TRYING to keep beaches & boardwalks clean… but with that many summer visitors, there’s (sadly) always litter. From an aesthetic perspective: Ballito is ruined by way too much ugly signage (estate agencies & security companies being the worst culprits!). This is true of most little towns which COULD be beautiful were it not for all the ugly signage & advertising plastered everywhere. Lots of things to see, do (and eat) in Ballito. Definitely worth a visit if exploring the KZN North Coast.

The beach was lovely, clean and safe. The view was spectacular and we saw whales from the deck due to the sardine run. The location of being right on the main beach is ideal for families with children and there are the right amount of rooms and living areas for a large crowd to stay comfortably. Joseph and the cleaning staff were friendly and very accommodating. Being able to sit at the infinity pool overlooking the beach and going for a dip after being on the beach was a treat. The property is a short drive to Salt Rock and Ballito.
