All of our clients had problems in there rooms.
All of our clients had problems in there rooms. We booked 1 sea- view, ( which was exceptional) and 5 ( garden view )
but got at the end on arrival only 1 sea view and terrible parkingarea view rooms... no garden view?? . All of the back rooms had issues: either bathroom lights not working,, TV volume control not working, generally those rooms needs revamp, especially the bathrooms needs urgent revamps. Especially room-7 you could hear everything happening in the kitchen.

Love the scenery, the landscape, and the very family-friendly atmosphere. It has a feel of Phuket, Thailand, with tropical vegetations and the roads up and down the hills. Recommend staying in the Salt Rock area at the Salt Rock Hotel: best food/drinks, service, and fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. We would definitely return to Ballito, Salt Rock area whenever we get a chance!

There is a lovely take away vibe cofeeshop in Salt Rock, called "Salt". It has the best croissant.

Best to swim in the early mornings before the wind picks up
The house is big and spacy. We were a big group of people but it was enough space not to be on top of each other. The house is elegant and clean. All air conditioners are in working condition. We really enjoyed the braai on the veranda with a view. The location cannot be better - within walking distance of everything you want at Dolphin Coast.
And, let me tell you - the bedding and towels are 5-star hotel quality! We really had a great time and definitely will be back to this place.
As you see it in the photos is what you get! A clean, spacious, modern and perfectly located apartment! The balcony area is huge, we spent time watching whales and dolphins in the morning and afternoon. A nice BBQ/Braai area around the pool, which we made use of. Right on the beach, with a great promenade to walk along. Our host was amazing, flexible and very accommodating. We left on the final day and summed it up in one sentence "this is our go to now".
Everything. I highly recommend this apartment. Firstly it's completely private and has a separate entrance. The hosts are wonderful. You walk in and feel at home. The set up is very warm and everything you need is right there. Very well thought about. The internet is great and ideal for people like me- who need to work online during their stay. They use high quality products - way better than a hotel. I even booked an additional night.
I am happy about our stay at Zimbali. From the booking to checking out, it was exceptional! 😃 Nozipho was amazing and explained everything, not to forget that she was so quick with her responses💐Our suit was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the food at the valley of pools and bushbuck, the fact that everything we needed was there within the resort was a bonus for us.
The hotel is well located and absolutely gorgeous, while its size also makes it fairly private and serene.
The restaurant staff and menu were pristine (I had the daily breakfast and dinner, twice and was satisfied) - I would go back again and again just for that part alone.
The curated entertainment by the pool makes for a great addition as well.
What is not to like? Nothing! This place is great. Neat and tidy. Comfortable home away from home. Great location, very short walk down a grassy path to a great beach with tidal pool for young kids. Very close to shops and restaurants. The unit is spacious, the patio area is amazing and large. I will definitely be back when we're in Ballito again.
The place was great and the owners where very helpful and amazing people to deal with. There was sufficient parking and the place was very well decorated and comfortable. It is right on the M4 and access to Ballito and other areas was easily accessible.
Great experience overall but there was sand on the floor all the time, it could have been our beach sand :( but it was always there even after they cleaned. Staff was helpful n hotel close to the mall which was great. The bar played nice music
The room was tiny, not even qualifying for a 1-star hotel. We immediately cancelled the bookings on check-in and found an alternative accommodation. I think the grading SA has to review their grade because it is currently deceiving.

This was one of the most incredible stays I have experienced in Ballito. The Hosts were phenomenal. The Luxury Apartment is completely private and has every facility you could wish for. I have already booked my next stay!

Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Aircon perfect for the Durban heatwave we experienced. The gardens are beautiful and all the many jasmine bushes were in full bloom during our stay. Magical
Location is great...just very complicated to reach. Two couples, travelled separately and arrived at different times. We both ended up at the hotel instead of at our accommodation.
Location was great. It was close to the beach and Ballito's center. The Boulders' facilities are great - the swimming pool was nice and warm and clean!
