Very amazing small town with charming harbor and castle. Many nearby attractions. It is highly recommended for history lovers. Tasty Halal food. Although prices went up highly during the last 5 years- it is still acceptable and attractive. Sant Hilarion and Bella Bays were the best with breath taking locations.

Kyrenia is beautiful, but if you want to see it either have a car and good walking shoes, or go in a group and split the cab fares.
Town centre can be walked around in quite easily, with the beautiful girne castle, also Bellapais, which is a monastery is a lovely quaint village. If you can hack the walk visit St. Hilarion, the views from higher up are absolutely breathtaking.

Kyrenia has grown hugely since our last visit 20 years ago and is more commercialised now but the harbour is still beautiful and brings a lump to my throat just to look at it. My family lived there in the 1950’s and I was born in Nicosia. It was wonderful to find our old family home and to visit the ‘slab’ which features on so many of my Dad’s old cine films. I hope the powers that be won’t allow too much more building work to go on. There are huge shops all along the main roads - more fitting to a London scene.
Please don’t spoil such a pretty harbour town.

Fantastic clear clean blue Mediterranean waters restaurants overlooking the sea with great food. Traffic in town is bad with bad roads and worse drivers, but once you get out of town terrific. Kyrenia harbor restaurants are not that great, catering to tourists ok for a once off sit and watch the boats. Do yourself a favour and walk a few streets back to proper family restaurants like Destiny Deniz for lunch or Nazils much better. Walk up Hilliron castle, take sturdy shoes but sensational views worth the effort

Despite its extremely small population, Kyrenia is a very crowded and complex city. If you like to gamble, it's for you. The beaches are very clean, quiet and the facilities are good, unfortunately you should use a taxi or rent a car for transportation. I would definitely recommend you to try the local delicacies of Cyprus, which are really good.

Many young people, good location. Buses available for everybody. Ticket in the bus - 10 TL / 1 person / 1 way. Taxi also comfortable for good price. Driving on the left side of the road, (e.g. like in a London ).
the bed was super comfortable. the whole room was lovely, we had a balcony that overlooked the courtyard. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel is filled with antiques from all over the world, and the lobby has comfortable places to sit. great location, easy to get to the marina, sites and shopping in the tourist district. we parked in the public parking lot and it's a short walk to the hotel. be aware when you pack, that there isn't an elevator so you might be hauling your bags up a couple of flights of stairs.
Claire and Martin met us on arrival and explaining how the entire (enormous) villa operated: kitchen, water, wifi etc. So much room in this wonderfully restored former bakery, close to supermarkets, etc, The very well-stocked fridge included food and drinks that we enjoyed throughout our week. The hosts were always on call to help. Linen was fresh and clean. a very magical place from which to explore Cyprus (from the north)
The property is located between the new airport in Ercan and Kyrenia. It's a very calm and relaxing place with a cozy pool inside the courtyard.
At the reception desk, you meet the Persian girl Maryam who welcomes everyone with genuine participation to check in fast and conveniently, even at an earlier time. She speaks English quite fluently, giving you a stunning Persian smile generously.
My room was the deluxe on the same floor as the rooftop bar. Incredible views and perfect location. Will be even better when the harbour renovation is completed.

Personally I love the character and charm of an older hotel but if you prefer shiny and modern, this is not the place for you.

Nice hotel, professional staff, very good wifi connection. Good bfast although after two days its starts becoming very repetitive. Bfast is served at the table so in reality there's not much flexibility and variety especially for the hotel's price. Nice cafe and restaurant. Very good parking. Very good location away from the Kyrenia busy streets.

lovely hotel and setting. staff very helpful. food quality was good with nice variety. allergy conscious. adult infinity pool was stunning. we were on half board but drinks prices were good and free water in your room and during meals. would definitely return. regular shuttle buses into Kyrenia town very regular
The accommodation is pretty well located, between the beautiful harbor and the area from where buses depart to Nicosia and other parts of Northern Cyprus. The bedroom is small, although comfortable, and very clean. Had free coffee and tea inside the room. The Internet was good, although a little bit unstable.
There were only one Egyptian staff there at the reception who was exceptionally professional, pleasant and welcoming.
The building was old, we were having problem with hot water in the shower, but he was very responsive and helpful...I will return back to the hotel only because of him.
I celebrated the new year with my family. I am grateful for everything about this hotel. Definitely we will come back. Staff are responsive and kind. Everything was luxurious. Happy New Year! I wish prosperity to the northern part of Cyprus and especially to this hotel.
We stayed in this apartment with our friends during our holiday in Cyprus. The location is great, the house is very spacious. There were a few minor issues, which the host took care of immediately. If I come to this country again, I will stay here again.
So first of all I like the hotel in general. Foods was good and delicious, staff was very friendly and nice, beach is good, animators are really fun and friendly. Room was nice and clean .
Excellent customer service and support, clean apartments, close proximity to all amenities. Great swimming pool. I will definitely use the place again when next I am in Cyprus North.
