Location was close to night market ( do go see so colorful lights fun area for kids and bright quirky lights on motorises tricycle local restaurants , and river . Quiet , clean , balcony can see outside to street , nice modern decore , mini fridge and air conditioner works well. Smart TV and good internet . If you love a view, this is for you. The riverside deluxe room is an amazing view onto the river. for us this was great, and the dilapidation didn’t worry us. HOWEVER if you don’t like run down don’t stay here. it’s basically falling apart at the seams. the pool is a ridiculous pond. we walked into the room and the curtain fell down, the wallpaper is peeling, it rained overnight and the room is leaking. our children’s room had glue on the walls. just outside our room was an open vent to a mechanics room. and the bird house right next door. the staff are completely unhelpful- basically tell you to look in google maps. really, apart from the wonderful view it’s awful.

Limited options for food if you don't eat seafood. Motel is In the new development that does not feel like vietnam, but didn't seem like many people were staying there. Odd feel to the place

Our large double room was very comfortable, reasonable space, a good bathroom with great hot water and a comfortable bed. It included a fridge, small desk, a couch and a TV with Netflix. The Wifi was great and air conditioning good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the waterfront, night market and plenty of restaurants.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

Ha Tien is great place of the nature created but will turn the tourists off because the beauty of nature places is not clean and need to repairs it or up grade to make it better in order to attractive to the tourists.

Getting around Ha Tien is easy.
Getting around Ha Tien is easy. What you need is to rent a bike and hang around Ha Tien. Ha Tien is pretty small, so maybe just a day is enough. My favorite spot is probably Mac's house- an old house with a big garden like a forest surrounding. It's cool, and also you can hear some stories about this place.
You can visit Night market, however, it is somehow the same as other coastal cities in VN.
The only thing I hate about this place is the price. Except for the homestay I booked in advance on booking, the price of food or service here seems pretty high.
Lucky for me, for dinner, we ask the locals and get the right place to eat - Anh Du/ Vu offers many seafood dishes at reasonable prices.
You can go to the supermarket - Coopmart in case you find the price is too high.

Nice town with lots of places to eat, vibrant markets and good accommodation options. Not very busy or noisy (for Vietnam) with quiet back streets to stroll around. There's even a great traveller's bar and restaurant serving great western food called Oasis, thoroughly recommended.
The location was good.Our hosts were really accommodating WE really liked the rooms and the decor.Bathrooms spotlessly clean.Nice green shubs on face of property. Host speaks perfect English. Would certainly book this hotel again. Rob. (Binh Duong)
