Worland is an agriculture town. There is not much to do.
Worland is an agriculture town. There is not much to do. The appeal is the location of the town. It is between the Bighorn Mountains and the Wind River Range. Also, Thermopolis is 30 miles away and Worland has less expensive lodging. From Days Inn Motel, you can walk to Stogie Joe's for bar food. They give discounts to military and seniors. The Brass Plum is excellent for breakfast and lunch. There is several fast food. The town is easy to navigate through with four Lanes on the main Street.
The hotel was easy to find.....right along the main street and we could park right in front of our door.
Everyone we spoke to in the office was pleasant and kind. Because the weather has been so hot they had free Dixie cups of icecream available. There was also a bottle of water and hand sanitizer on the table in our room. Plus a cute little rubber duck in the bathroom. I would definitely stay there again if in that area.
Breakfast was fine too, lots of choices.
We arrived late when our cross-country camping trip plans were changed due to a freak snow storm in September. The hosts were wonderfully friendly. The room was small, the bed was large and comfy, and everything was very clean. The hotels on the outskirts of town and very easy to find. We found it very quiet and immensely comfortable.
Second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Disgusting. Front desk clerk was asleep behind a locked office door. Had to call her in the office just to check in. I only stayed here because I needed a place that allowed my dog.
This hotel is clean and comfortable. The reason we booked this hotel instead of in Thermopolis was due to price and reviews of the ones in Thermopolis were horrible. This was a great choice and we were very happy!
The room was large and clean . Bed very comfortable. They came in and gave us fresh linens and towels, without being asked. The only hotel during COVID to do this!;)
