Any bad reviews were done by people expecting a 5-star hotel. This is middling hotel, convenient and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even accommodated us by moving us closer to the lobby so my 91 year old mother didn't have to walk very far.
All guests were friendly, as well. The hot breakfast was adequate and well provided.
The room was large and provided enough space to relax at the end of the day. Cable was well provided, WiFi connection was good.
I was pleasantly surprised, based on the previous reviews. It was nice.

Willow springs is mostly an r.v. park, but they have a few modest cabins for rent. We loved our stay, never worried, felt safe. They have a pool, putt putt golf, locked gate to get in. Lake is about a mile away, just a peaceful stay, wish we could have stayed longer, but will be back!

We loved the woodsy feel of the cabin and the bed was super comfortable! On the flip side, there were spiderwebs all over the inside, which made it feel as if it hasn’t had a good cleaning in awhile. We were visited by a mouse frequently, who ate some of our hamburger buns.
