Motel 6-Waxahachie, TX, hotel in Waxahachie

Conveniently located off Interstate 35 in Waxahachie, this motel features a 24-hour front desk and free wireless internet access.

I didn't have the breakfast but I liked that the location, while local to many things, did not feel like you were in the center of the city. Standard motel 6, simple room, clean, reasonably quiet

    Go during home tour.

Go during home tour. Hope they do one again around Christmastime. There are many beautiful Victorian homes but without it being a home tour you will only get to see from outside I think. The Sims Library is impressive. If you spend night do the haunted tour. It is soooooo worth the 20 dollars.

    We discovered the Catfish Plantation.

We discovered the Catfish Plantation. What an outstanding place and the food was terrific!!! Waxahachie is a quaint little town (the parts away from the traffic). We were driven around by our son and we seemed to be fairly close to most locations we visited. Of course construction is always an issue but things will get better for those areas enduring that right now.

double charged for a 1 night stay. Room was very dusty, dirty floors, hair on floor. I was not given the room that I booked. I was not informed of the unreserved room before I was asked to pay. I was charged twice for the same night with still no resolve from booking.com or the hotel

The town was fairly easy to get around in and the place we had lunch was nice with good service. We were there for a family wedding so we did not have time to see very much but what we did see was clean and taken care of nicely. Altogether a very pleasant town.

I enjoyed the historical district of old town Waxahachie.

I enjoyed the historical district of old town Waxahachie. Shopped at Granny’s antique store and The Doves Nest. Love the old Court house. Had a great old fashioned burger at Pop’s which was recommended by your staff. The location was perfect for my travel needs. All Dept stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc were a 5 minute drive away. I loved everything about your hotel! Slept so peacefully every night and was so grateful for the wonderful breakfast every morning. I’ll surely recommend your establishment and will stay here again when I come back to visit Texas!

I was very disappointed in the staff and the facility.

I was very disappointed in the staff and the facility. The receptionist was not friendly and seemed like she would have rather been doing something else other than waiting on me. There were two SUVs parked and running in the corner of the parking lot with young adults making out outside of it and smoking weed. This was next to the entrance and made my wife very uncomfortable.

Host met us and showed us to our suite. The turn of the century home is beautiful and comfortable. Mary and Howard anticipated our needs. We were fortunate to run into Tony (he has been a long time employee and friend of Howard and Mary). Tony gave us a grand tour of the house and its rich history. We are looking for reasons to return to the area. Enjoyed an excellent steak and sides at Prime 115. Enjoyed a evening at the Playhouse downtown as well as the evening entertainment at Big Al's.

Starting with the staff customer service was the bomb. From the entrance of the hotel to the room I felt good about my choice. Any time you can walk into a good cleaned facility and room it just makes your stay so much better. Having real breakfast available was great especially under my circumstances.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and provided a quick check in. The AC in our original room was not working, so they offered us another room with no argument or hesitation. The water pressure in the hotel is the best we have ever had, in any hotel we have ever stayed in.

We liked the quiteness of the hotel. There were lots of students but we did not hear them. The bathroom was nice as the sink was seperate from the toilet, shower area. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff over the breakfast. They were very friendly.
