No restaurants were open after 6 PM on a Sunday evening during height of tourism season. We understand though as it was haying season. We were able to buy food at the local grocery store and microwaved our dinners.
What a hidden gem close to the Wallowa wilderness! Stayed one night as a pass through for a backpacking trip and was expecting just a mediocre roadside motel but this far exceeded that! Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Super comfy beds, very clean, great price, and perfect location for our needs. Would definitely book again and stay longer.
Hotel was exactly what we needed after a night of backpacking camping in the Wallowas. Room was clean, comfortable and easy to access from Enterprise/ Jospeh. Staff was friendly. Price was budget-friendly for our night. Overall would recommend.
Just fine for a night or two, economical. Not much going on in the town of Wallowa for eating choices, so you have to go another 7 miles to Enterprise for a little better selection, or 25 miles to Joseph for more choices.
Location. I attended the Wallowa Fiddle Camp which was only one block from the motel. Also, the staff was very friendly and worked hard to make my stay comfort.
We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel and its cleanliness. It felt like you were at home. I would stay here again, a hidden gem in a little town. Well done!
