Location is very nice. when the sink water didn't work, maintenance came quickly. The view of the ocean and sunrise from the ocean view is awesome! The hallway windows, sunset is awesome. Live music was really nice.

Having restaurants within walking distance was definitely a plus. Cafe Ole (at least I think that’s what it was called) was a great spot. Delicious food and great staff. The lack of specialty shops along the strip was unfortunate. The stores that were there were repetitive block after block. There were the usual beachy stores, ice cream and arcades. We stayed Oceanside and when the weather became inclement there wasn’t much to do at all in the immediate area. A 10-15 minute drive brings you to where the chain restaurants, larger stores and indoor activities are.

The staff was awesome great service, also with thing and places to go. The only bad thing was on my last night the hotel quests upstairs was extremly noisey till 3 in the morning. The other nights was nice and silent.

I like VAbeach culture.
I like VAbeach culture. Many restaurants, shops, events and activities yearround that are welcoming and open. Parking is easily found. City and beach are of great cleanliness. Places I visited...the beach, Capes Hotel, Abby Road, Rudie Inlet, Big Sam's, Chics on the Beach, Harpoon Larry's, Murphy's, Mosiac Cafe, Ocean Eddie's, YVBC Bunker Brewpub, Kilwins, The Pier Shops, and many other beach item shops.

I would avoid spring break College invasion if you want to avoid noise.
The boardwalk is main focus of the beach.
In our opinion, the center of the boardwalk is the most active.
If you're older and want peace / relaxation. may not be for you.

Virginia Beach has a lot to offer from great beaches, entertainment, great restaurants etc. Gringos Mexican on Norfolk Avenue- great Mexican and I highly recommend the nostalgic Nicks Cafe of which a lot of the locals go with great food specials. Burgers are top notch. Too many places to list

If I could rate this place a negative zero I would but it's definitely a 1. Will be reporting this to management tomorrow. We checked in very late. Hair in the beds and tub. Refrigerator, toaster oven, and microwave dirty. Spider webs with some spiders throughout the house. Painting chipping throughout. Not the right number of beds listed. After I text management to verify. Extremely needs dusting, updating and some paint. Scuff marks throughout the whole house on the walls. Where's the foosball table? Extremely outdated. Very, very disappointed 😞
For the price paid, you would like the hotel was on the boardwalk, but it is still in a great location. It was fine for a place to sleep - not many extra bells and whistles (considering price). Staff was friendly and welcoming. Again, location is good for walking to anything - loved being close to McMurphys and Starbucks, and just a block from the boardwalk. Back entry into hotel looks a little run down - maybe they are going to remodel? Pool is small but great for a dip and to sit and read a book.
Staff was very helpfull. We had to check in late so we had to wait for the hotel manager to come to the property. Communicating with him was quick, easy and clear. We had to wait for a bit but he indicated he came within 5 minutes of his ETA, so while we waited we could just chill at a bar at the beach. Once he was on location the checkin procedure was quick, and convenient. Great service that makes the hotel worth considering!
Perfect location to spend a few days ON the beach in a well equipped hotel right on the beach. For the price you could not beat it! It appeared that every room in this hotel has a beach view of some sort. With the many restaurants and bars within walking distance made this even better.
Virginia Beach will be my goto beach from now on and SurfBreak may be the place!
Overall stay was great. Check-in was bit of a hassle. Booked 2 rooms 3 Children 2 adults ended up paying price for 3 adults & 3 children. When we reached hotel owner had cancelled one of my rooms and no one bothered to reach out to me to let me know.. amazing hotel staff on night shift assisted to make arrangements for other room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay
We loved that all the rooms had a balcony overlooking the ocean . Good free breakfast. Nice inside swimming pool. We were help to see USB ports for all of our phones! We loved that property was on the boardwalk!! We loved that there was free parking!! We loved that at night the hotel locks the doors so just hotel guests with their card can get in!!
The location of the hotel was great (on the beach, on the boardwalk). The hotel was brand new and opened two weeks prior (my reservation was on June 17, 2022). Our room was great, large, clean and comfortable with excellent views (ocean front room with a king bed, L shaped couch and a balcony).
Location was great and great view of the ocean. Love that you can walk out of the hotel and be right on the boardwalk and the free breakfast was a great way to help family save just a little bit why they where there..
Everything! This apartment is amazing, the host has thought of everything. All appliances and furnishings are like new. Location is right on the beach and boardwalk and at the quieter end of Virginia Beach.
We Loved the Hotel location. It was on the boardwalk. The beach and the ocean was in the hotel backyard. The hotel provided parking space. Once we parked our vehicle, we could walk to whatever else we needed.
The hotel is located at the end if the boardwalk away from most of the oceanfront traffic. It’s right on the boardwalk though so you can quickly and easily access the beach at any time of the day.
Like many Virginia Beach accommodations, this one is located directly on the boardwalk. There’s a small balcony with that wonderful view. I got a room with a jacuzzi tub, and it worked great.
