AutoCamp Zion, hotel in Virgin

Set in Virgin, within 47 km of St George Temple and 40 km of Pine Valley Chapel, AutoCamp Zion offers accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

The place is amazing. You can see that in all the pictures and reviews. Due to flight delays we ended up arriving to the campsite around 6 in the morning and very exhausted. Not only they reversed our no-show but they also offered us a late checkout without any additional fees. If i visit Zion again, i m definately coming back here; we stayed so short and didnt have the chance to enjoy the full experience like the pool, the fireplace etc. 100% recommendation!!!

Under Canvas Zion, hotel in Virgin

Take glamping to a whole new level with a stay in these luxury tents under the stars at Zion.

We had such a lush stay at Under Canvas Zion. It was the last night of our two week roadtrip during which we got married so we splashed out on an expensive stargazer tent with private bathroom for our mini moon. The staff were a delight and our tent had been tastefully decorated with Just Married decor and they gave us a voucher for a complimentary appetiser with dinner (though we arrived late and ate before going to our tent so the following morning they let us use it for a breakfast). We were also given the opportunity to move to a tent with private parking space but it was v dark and I didn't want to drive up the little lanes. The shuttle to our tent was absolutely enough. Upon arrival we caught the end of a live singer while we had our dinner. The two main fire pits were busy so we retreated to our tent for a bit then came out when they had become available and enjoyed some smores whilst looking at the stars. What a treat! The weather was turning stormy but we managed to see the stars from our tent before we fell asleep, exhausted from a day of long drives and exploring Bryce canyon. I woke up to heavy rain which was noisy on the stargazer part above our heads but the bed was so warm and cosy I fell back to sleep quickly. We had dinner and breakfast at the lobby restaurant. The food was nice, healthy, nothing amazing for the high prices. We were also given a cool box for our on the road food and drink which was super handy as ours had stopped being cold! I'd stay again as a treat in hope of lucking out with the weather and getting to see a sunrise instead of clouds haha. Its always a gamble!

I am not sure if the hotel is under staff but the entire stay of my 3 days, trash cans outside the entrance doors where full & overflowing with trash and trash bags that customers are bringing out of their rooms because rooms are not being clean (refreshed) by the hotel on a daily basis. Not a good sight to see, specially because of covid and the need for cleanliness... Rooms & bathrooms were spacious perfect for traveling with family.

Nice and clean Hotel. We felt very safe.

Nice and clean Hotel. We felt very safe. They are still building part of hotel so I am sure it will be even better when completed. Wish there was a Dinner location closer, had to take a long drive each evening. Virgin is a very small unimproved town. Not much to do in Virgin UT. All the action is up the road 15 miles in Springdale UT. The Zion NP Town location.

The views were astonish, the prices were not so high that I though. Zion's Park is amazing. A recommendation for any traveler would be to check the parking issue because could be very frustrating trying to get a spot inside the park, although if you get early (before 7 am) to the park it is much easier. The bad thing is that you need to be check at the lodge to get access with your car to some part of the park. If you are traveling with family make your counts since they charge you per person, so could be much cheaper to get early to the park and pay for the entrance fee of 35 bucks instead of paying the parking fee (20 bucks) and another 20 per person since the other option is to park outside the park and take the trolley.
