The staff was incredibly kind and easygoing. The man at the front desk was very friendly and informative when we told him what we were doing in the area. The room was clean and had a great selection on tv as well and the service was great too.

They can use more attention to detail when cleaning the unit. I felt I had to wipe down things down. The mattress was comfortable. The unit was decorated wonderfully and carpet seemed new. The toiletries were great and the shower had endless hot water with great water flow.

This is an older inn and is a little "worn", but is very clean and comfortable. This is reflected in the price. Our meal in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and the bed comfortable.

The lobby was very nice and welcoming. Our room was amazing! We got a surprise upgrade to a suite with two separate bedrooms and the room was so nice and spacious. It had a small kitchenette area, but not microwave or cooking area, just really a sink and a refrigerator and a table. The common areas were nice. The kids had a blast in the pool, that was clean, nice and warm and comfortable. The game room was nice but it was very expensive at a dollar per game so we didn’t play anything, yes the kids were disappointed but it was ridiculously expensive. Also the token machine only took cash, which is very archaic these days lol, There’s an area were snacks and drinks are sold at the front desk and free breakfast in the morning with good variety! No restaurant in the building but there’s a few nice ones really close to the hotel for takeout if wanted. Overall a very nice stay! Would definitely stay there again!

Old-fashioned historic inn, beautifully situated with good food and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Rooms were old-style and charming.

The cog railway was a blast, a lot of cool history regarding the trains. Bretton woods ski resort has a nice restaurant on the base of the mountain and on the top. The Omni resort located down the street from the ski resort has loads of dining and activity options for both winter and summer. Not too many restaurants in the area unless you go to Bethlehem or little town, both located 10 and 20 minutes from the resorts, well worth the drive.

Somehow my review of Four Seasons Motel at Twin Mountains shows a rating of "2" and "Poor". This is incorrect, and I don't know where it came from, and I don't know how to correct it.
My rating of Four Seasons Motel is "very good" and "9"

This was in the middle of our activities so I would book again in this area if we were visiting the Cog Railway, North Conway, and Cranmore Mountain again. Appx. Half hour drive give or take a little to each destination. The drive was so beautiful, it didn't matter the distance. Dunkin Donuts is not close to hotel so def leave extra time to stop on your way to your early destinations. Pretty sure Bartlett was the closest to hotel. There is 1 restaurant close by and 1 pizza place and 1 gas station for snacks. Other than that your in the middle of no where.

Twin Mountain Village in the town of Carroll is a mixed bag.
Twin Mountain Village in the town of Carroll is a mixed bag. The convenience stores that are still open are staffed by very friendly people. The library, although small and only open part time, was quite a good resource for some of my history research. Librarian was quite helpful.
The area feels quite safe for a tourist.
Community pride is noticed in many of the flower gardens on public and private property.
The downside is seeing the many closed businesses (motels and stores) in depressing condition. Sort of a blight on the community.

Wonderful places to eat - close to Mt.
Wonderful places to eat - close to Mt. Washington Hotel and dining their was a treat. Fabyn's BBG was delicious and pricing was great. Definitely need a car if you are going to visit Mt. Washington Cog Railway, Mt. Washington Hotel and do any hiking. Roads are well marked so no chance of getting confused,
Cog Railway was wonderful and top of Mt. Washington was unique - quite a breeze and difference of temperature. Great exhibits as well.
