The room was good the only thing I had a problem with was I traveled over a hour and half to stay there to get away only reason we left home and I was up all night because someone pulled the fire alarm I was told they could not do anything beside give me a free breakfast which I wasn’t hungry cause I was up all night long I was tired and cranky mad angry

Not much to do and available downtown, people very friendly and helpful. I hope downtown can develop and become what the people of Toledo and visitors need, beautiful setting next to the river but begs development and repurposing of beautiful old buildings.

Well.. I got rear ended. The car took off. I followed it.
Well.. I got rear ended. The car took off. I followed it. She finally stopped a couple blocks down. I got the license plate (picture) and a picture of the car. I talked to the driver who took off again.
The Ohio police will not charge her unless i come down and identify her through a photo line up. I don’t think i could identify her through photos. She was wearing a lot of make up and false eyelashes.
Long story short, the Ohio police department knows who she is and will not charge her. Off she goes… and me with a smashed car 😡

We were in Toledo for a concert and chose to spend the night...
We were in Toledo for a concert and chose to spend the night so we could dine out after the concert and do some Christmas shopping the next day. We had lunch at The Blarney Irish Pub which is within walking distance of the hotel. Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Then we had spirits and appetizers at the hotel restaurant Napa after the concert. This is a perfect hotel to stay at if you are attending an event at the Huntington Center. The hotel itself is nice and clean and the reception desk was very helpful and accommodating.

Loved the zoo and museum shopping was fun but accommodation at the Fairfield marriot were abominable. Hot tub didn't work( clearly has not in a long time) no lights or power in fitness room and hallways /room were unclean

The area around Owen Corning World Headquarters had great walking path and river view for after dinner walk. Toledo pride was going on and unfortunately there was some very non family like behavior noted on street so the path and park area close to hotel was nice to escape that element of adult behavior and drug use.

We enjoyed the Casino, and my husband liked the fishing! There is a great restaurant called"Bubba's" that was very good, I think we ate there 4 of the 5 nights we were there! Even with the construction it was very easy to get around, great signage! It was a great place to experience! There is also a very large shopping mall with lots of great stores!
