Unfortunately I never got to have breakfast as I asked for a wake up call (no alarm clock in the room). I never got the wake up call, and discovered the clock in the room had not bee reset for the spring so was 1 hour behind. I barely made my lawyer appointment as it was. The staff at check in tried to be very helpful and I was happy to wait for her to clean the room and make the bed even though I arrived after 7 pm. She did her best to be polite and pleasant.

The staff and location was wonderful. They helped fix our room so we were on the side with the lake. We loved being able to go out to the water at night and look at the stars. Just make sure when you book your room you are on the side of the street with the lake, that way you don't have to cross the road to get to all the amenities that they offer. Oh, and breakfast is only offered on the weekends.

Great location to sports fields as well as grocery stores and restaurants! Quiet location and very private with the fenced in yard. Hot tub was a plus! Owners of the apartment check in with you before, during and after your stay which is amazing. very friendly hospitality and their priority is that you have the best stay imaginable.

Tilton is a very busy spot in this area. We went specifically to explore the Tilton Inn and enjoyed it a lot. However, there is not much to explore within walking distance. The Onion was amazing and would definitely recommend both the Inn and restaurant. There is one nice spot to walk in this area across a little bridge into a park area, but it was blocked off and not accessible.

I liked the area as it had lots of options and was close to the event I attended. Traffic is heavy at times but very good signage on roadways.Lots of food options and shopping opportunities nearby. Very scenic area.

Not enough towels 3 out of 7 days, missing 1 pillowcase 1 night .Housekeeping put a stained sheet back on bed1 night.We put it back in middle of floor with note + they finally changed it.No workout room open, no pool, no hot tub !!! Free continental breakfast..hot +cold cereal(no milk) 1type of Danish +muffin, tea,coffee+hot chocolate. ( not good for $150. /night)

I would recommend for sure a stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. They were doing the best they could with the current world situations. Many food places, grocery stores, and cheap gas nearby. The dinner down the street was good. They also have state parks with clear water close by and the town is quaint. There is good pizza down the street and a police station close by. They also about 1 1/2 hr away have a great train ride for kids in the conway area. Overall a great stay.

The Tilton diner was perfect as always ( Sunday morning breakfast buffet!) The off roading trails where wonderful as well. Perfect town to stay in on your way home from the white mountains. Fireworks store is a good stop for some evening activitys too.

I have stayed in Tilton several times over the past 8 years. It is a small New England town. Tilton is close to water for water sports or the mountains if you enjoy hiking or serious climbing. In the Fall it is beautiful with color. In short Tilton has it all for all seasons.
This place was great! My husband and I went to a concert in Gilford and when I was looking for a place to stay I found the Black Swan Inn and I’m so glad I did. The inn keeper Lydia was so nice when we got there. Showed us around and then to our room & private bathroom. The room was very spacious and had a lot of charm. It was the same with the bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend staying here over a chain hotel. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Clean and nice place. Some ceiling work was evident along with paint curling over wall paper. Shower was very small though the room itself was left along with the bathroom. Quiet place and plenty of parking. Thought the deck was attached to hotel though quick walk across the street. Water bottles and other snacks available was very nice.
We liked the wide spaces and big rooms, the view of the lake and all the appliances that were well thought of., everything was very clean. Shlomi was extremely accommodating, gave us a lot of important information about the area and what to do and where to eat. We enjoyed the weekend in spite of rainy weather.
We left immediately because we felt unsafe at this hotel. There was a man nodding off in his car and the entire hotel was in disrepair. AND it was incredibly overpriced at almost $300. I knew there was just a slim chance I'd get my money back but we just couldn't stay somewhere not safe.
Being at the hotel was such an awesome stay I can’t wait to book again. This was my first stay in New Hampshire and they made it worth our time. The staff was so friendly providing us with help at any time and also awesome restaurants near by. We cannot wait to stay here again.
Breakfast was above average, good variety, well stocked, clean, and an ample sized room. Beds are comfortable, the hotel is updated, the front staff is friendly, it was super quiet for sleeping, basically, this place is very well run.
Breakfast was excellent. Quality of food and cleanliness was tip top. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was ideal, right outside the exit of a major interstate highway. Beautiful location of hotel on a small island.
I haven't slept on a mattress that comfortable since I stayed at Hampton inn a few years back comfortable bed, and pillows that were clean and fresh. Very hospitable friendly and courteous staff.
