Breakfast was disappointing. Toaster needed to be used several times to make decent toast. Bread selections were ordinary. Not enough yogurt. One table had not been cleaned, yet, when I wanted to sit there.

Just traveling through some of the charming and historic areas is fun and rewarding. Monhonk House is a great hiking area as well as Minnewaska but Elmrock Inn is a much better value. The Hasbrouck House has a great restaurant and Garvin's in New Paltz was also great.
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful farmhouse, Elmrock Inn for the 2nd time. We were in the area to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The owners were gracious, accommodating and helpful. Our breakfast by chef Mark was fantastic. When Mark learned it was our anniversary, he surprised us with a bottle of delicious champagne. Again, thank you so much, Mark. That was so sweet and thoughtful. We definitely will come back to stay at this beautiful inn again.
