Hyatt Place is right across from MLK PLAZA and there is a lovely memorial there on the principles of non violence. There is also sculpture and a walkway marking historical timeline of the movement. Beautifully done. This town is very quaint and I definitely will return to see more of the art scene.

It was filthy in areas. Rugs were disgustingly dirty.
It was filthy in areas. Rugs were disgustingly dirty. Bathroom was an electrical hazard. Breakfast was tasteless and stale. Same food daily. Pastries like hockey pucs and pancakes hard like discus thrown in cross country sports or olympics. Pool indoor super disappointing and cold. Hot tub was cold tub less then your body temperature. Door did not latch when closed and man opened stating wrong room. Very unsafe. I will never book a room there again or any Ramada any where.

The hotel was run down and dirty we chose to check out and leave early not to stay the second night.
The check in staff was rude and couldn't even find my reservation.
We are up there a lot as our son goes to Penn State and I would not recommended this hotel to anyone.

Bad all around - staff need training in customer service. Could not find my reservation, even after providing confirmation - hotel stated date was wrong on their end and changed my room and charged me more $$. Needs cleaner bathroom and provide appropriate bedding. Restaurant service lacking, along with food quality, overpiced.

The staff is great.
The staff is great. The rooms are comfortable, The bathrooms are spacious. Thanks for allowing me to travel with my dog. The onsite restaurant is great. We took advantage of the nice free breakfast and also had dinner there both evenings. It was tasty, and arrived at the table hot. Drinks were refilled without asking! Waitstaff is exceptional.
A very well kept hotel. The lobby area is very cozy, love the wooden staircase and fireplace. We were unknowingly upgraded to a suite, and were very pleasantly surprised to walk into this beautiful large room. The hotel was vey quiet even though it was a very busy weekend in town. The free breakfast buffet was over and above what we expected, lots of choices. The front desk was very helpful. Jeremy made my birthday weekend more special by upgrading us. The location couldn’t have been better, so close to PSU. We will be back again and again!!
Good size rooms, good staff. Price was good. If you have your own car, it's not far from anything though it's on the outskirts.
There is a gas station and convenience store nearby. The hotel has a beer shop on premise. Most of the restaurants and other shops in the area were closed because of summer. What was closed? Well, the Chinese restaurants were closed so call before you go anywhere or have a few options.
Rooms are def worn, looks a lot better online, slight’ hotel smell’ in the halls & room, outlets- half worked, bathroom sink area very small, no closet area, just a spot to hang stuff behind bathroom sink, major lack of good lighting
Staff is great, parking pretty good, the lobby area & atrium cute, great they have a pool but water very cold even though heated room, if on a budget it’s perfect.
There were beautiful views and the common areas of the hotel were spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms were also clean and comfortable with everything one would need. We did not use the pool or fitness areas, but they looked inviting. The full breakfast looked good although we did not have time to sit down and eat. The barman was very nice and made great drinks.
The hotel room was beautiful and had a very spacious bathroom in it. Bed was somewhat firm but I was able to sleep. I loved the proximity to get to everywhere I needed to go while in State College. I definitely plan on staying there again - just not at game time due to the inflated pricing.
.The room is excellent it is spacious and has basic amenities like microwave, ref and tv... also has sink tocwash dishes... though not walkable to downtown it is few minutes by car so location not too bad. The hotel overall is clean and quiet. Staff is very helpful, courteous and always smile
We were thrilled with our stay for price! We ended up in a neat large room off the elevator bank which was noisy when people got ice but super convenient with lots of space. Everything was very clean and I was impressed. Shower stayed super hot and location was nearby lots of food/shopping!
The location was perfect. The beds were comfy and really liked the walk-in shower our room had. Our room was quiet. Breakfast choice looked really nice but didn't partake because we had family nearby to visit. The front desk was helpful and pleasant.
I was only there for one night but it was clean and comfortable not just my room but the whole facility. The room with 2 double beds was very spacious. It is an older hotel so it looks a little dated. The staff was great.
Everyone was wonderful!! From the desk staff to the breakfast person to the cleaning folks, the service was first rate. The hotel is clean and has everything I need. It was a delightful stay that I expect to repeat.
I loved the location of the hotel and how close it was to everything. I also like how much room there was for parking. Also the fact that you could access the parking area without having to go outside was very nice.
Great location - close to campus and the town. The open and spacious floor plan of the hotel allowed for groups to meet in different areas in a comfortable setting.
great hotel, conveniently located, rooms are renovated and in good condition, staff is nice, decent breakfast. Price is very attratctive, great value for money.
