Being right o the canal was great. The little balconies with chairs was lovely to be able to sit out and watch things go by. The staff was very helpful The linens were nice and the mattress comfortable. It was lovely to be able to walk down the warm to the restaurants and shops in the town. The night light in the bathroom was helpful. Loved having an elevator. The garden and landscaping was really great.
Located under a 2-minute walk from Hellam’s Vinyard and the Museum of Northwest Art, the Washington hotel offers an on-site restaurant and pub. All rooms feature a gas fireplace.

This is a comfy B&B with friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. The atmosphere is friendly and it was fun to meet other guests over breakfast and swap stories. It is about a 10-minute walk to the La Conner waterfront where there are interesting shops and restaurants. It is also a 20-minute or so drive to nearby tulip farms which are a must-see for those travelling here in the spring.
Boasting a spa bath, Relajate y recargate de buena vibra en nuestras cabanas de Camano Island is situated in Camano. This chalet provides accommodation with a balcony.

I actually booked an extra day after being there a few days. It was difficult to leave. The property is so peaceful, the view is beautiful, the cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people. I slept with the windows open because I could hear nothing but birds and the water. There is no access to the water from the cabin but the view is phenomenal. The kitchen includes an induction cooktop that was amazing to cook on. I WANT ONE!! The local representative that I worked with while I was there was fantastic. She responded quickly and took care of every issue immediately. There weren't really any issues other than trying to book that extra day and trouble with the door locking mechanism but I think that was operator error lol One of the reviews that I read said something about needing a truck to get down the driveway? The driveway was beautiful I didn't have any issues. I was sad to find out they're not going to be booking the cabin after August of this year. I would have loved to be able to go back. I heard good things about the paddle pub that is just a few minutes from the cabin but unfortunately they weren't open while I was there.

I was attending a Snowgoose Festival, so I had signed up for tours and activities in advance. The town is friendly and has an old-school vibe. Not many tourists around, unless there is a special event. I ate at two places that were recommended by locals. The Stanwood Cafe, a diner type place that makes their own corned beef hash, and Jimi's, an Italian place that was clearly a favorite of sports groups, birthday parties, and families, but where as a single diner, I felt perfectly comfortable with my glass of red wine and huge order of delicious spaghetti and meatballs!

Check them out on the internet.
Check them out on the internet. They have all kinds of events. We were there for their Great Northwest Glass Festival. It is an amazing treasure hunt where you get the chance to find a clear plastic ball with a card inside that you are to use to claim a beautiful hand blown glass ball. I like to call them treasure or magic balls. They are beautiful. I met so many wonderful people and everyone was so friendly. Very rural area great shots of old barns, etc. If you are friendly you can strike up a conversation with anyone. Head to Whidbey Island, Camano Island. I took a glass class from Marcus Ellinger. If ever in the area you must go to their studio. They are father and son and do some amazing work. Mark is the father and Marcus the son. Marcus gave me the class and he had so much patience with me. Deception Pass is a must do. Look it up. Great cupcakes, great pizza I just wish I could remember the names. Really check out Stanwood. Make Stanwood your base and work out from there
