The bed and bedding were very comfortable, the view the room was a mowed field, brush and a tree line. Lovely and quiet. I lived in East Brunswick for decades and would not stay at any East Brunswick facilities. The New Brunswick hotels are all fancier larger properties. The Rutgers Inn was “ just right “.
At checkin I was asked to initial a three night stay. I explained to the gentleman, my dog was having emergency surgery that day, and depending on recovery, I might need to leave a day early if he was discharged. He said “ no problem,” but at check out I was charged for the unused night.
I have addressed this with the property directly, and hope for a favorable reply. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. I look forward to using it again. I was married at Kirkpatrick Chapel. and my husband was a graduate of Cook College. Many happy memories!
