Fantastic place to sped a 4-day weekend for lovers of the outdoors. We packed in hiking during the day and guided hiking after dark, a jeep tour of the Outlaw Trail, glass blowing at the Melting Point, and a day trip to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. Combine scenic views, great trails to explore, and wonderful guides with good cuisine and a convenient drive from Sky Harbor, and this is an awesome destination for anyone looking for a getaway!

Sedona just has this unique thing about it.
Sedona just has this unique thing about it. Maybe it’s the red rocks that surround the place. Or that it’s a small community that’s easy to get around. Could even be the nice hotels and the variety of small shops. But I think it’s some combo of all those things. The red rocks add a stunning visual element to any activity you’re doing, and they also create a serene, peaceful atmosphere that surrounds you wherever you go. The small community makes it easy to get around, and visit all sites. The little restaurants, nice hotels and a couple of well-stocked supermarkets add a lot to the experience, because you can really relax and enjoy yourself knowing you’re taken care of. It definitely makes for a different kind of experience.

Sedona is beautiful.
Sedona is beautiful. We were there for 5 days which was plenty just right to see and do everything we wanted to. It is worth going to Sedona during the week as it was very crowded during the weekend. My favorite restaurant for food was the Hideaway House and for good views it is Mariposa. I also highly recommend Pink Jeep Tours and getting to the trailheads early.

Sedona is very beautiful, clean and safe!
Sedona is very beautiful, clean and safe! I don’t recommend going during a holiday weekend cause traffic gets really bad and flights get delayed.
Sedona is a spiritual place with a high vibration of love and peacefulness. You could feel the positive energy! There are many great tours to take but I recommend renting a car and exploring Sedona on your own.
2 to 3 day stay is good
Recommend: Pisa Lisa (pizza)
Javelina Cantina - look for the boars outside the restaurant. Great food

Sedona is a beautiful area of Arizona.
Sedona is a beautiful area of Arizona. Surrounding country and communities are beautiful and fun to visit. Great for hiking, biking, off roading. Downtown Sedona is congested, and patience is required while driving. Fun shopping, lots of tourist shops and some good restaurants. Recommend stopping in at the Visitors Center first to get the lay of the town and its features.

Sedona can be a great place to stay but, if you aren't camping and are staying in a hotel/motel, it can be expensive depending on your budget. We thought we booked a place in Sedona but in fact, were in Oak Creek Village, several miles from Sedona. Turns out that was ok as we had easy/convenient access to really nice hiking trails and there was a great Coffee/Bakery just across the street. And that said, getting back and forth to Sedona takes a great deal of patience and once in Sedona don't be surprised by stop and go traffic (we were there in early May). The scenery is spectacular! However, having now been there we most likely won't be back. Too crowded!
The most amazing view of the Red rocks from our room balcony. The hotel is cosy & in a great location as all shops & restaurants are in walking distance. This hotel is also listed by a lot of the tour companies for pick up. It is also located very close to the Sedona OHV routes for the best ATV off roading experiences - a must when in Sedona!
Wonderful apartment, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, and THE BEST towels of any place I've stayed anywhere in the world. Angus was very helpful and made checking in easy. Great location in Sedona with shops and restaurants nearby, and close to everything.
Everytime My family and I visit Sedona we always stay in this Hotel.I loved the view of my balcony room. And the pool area.It will be perfect if they offer morning breakfast.
