Broken alarm clock, broken room phone and door latch is broken too. The door doesn’t close behind you, when leaving. You need to reset latch from inside of room. Just before leaving it.
I’d told front desk about it. She claimed that was normal thing. Then why NOT place a sticker on doors stating that. It was annoying every time, I’d stepped out. Then more problems was noted of noise from downstairs lobby of EMT’s taking a guest away at 12:30 AM. So slept poorly, then work up late for my day. Because of a broken alarm clock in room. When called on my cellular the next day and asked for late check out to get myself ready to head out. She declared they’re be a charge for that extra request. I’d left in a hurry and was very upset how we were treated as valued customers.
I’ll never return there again.

Saugus is not very far from Boston and is full of shopping centers and restaurants. Most hotels in the area are medium price range and rather affordable, however, they are also frequented by groups of people who are not very family oriented or family friendly.

I reserved at the Holliday Inn after they mentioned it was at Logan Airport. I was staying for one night only. I was really surprised to discover that it was not near the airport but in an area called Saugus 45min away from the airport!
I asked the girl at the reception, she said may be it was a marketing thing!!!!!!!!

The Taxi which was booked by the Reception, the name of the driver, Michael, did not know the place and took us around and around for more than 45 minutes. We were 4 of us and we got fed up and asked him to bring us back to the Square 1 Mall. The amount was very very high. The rates were too high by these Taxi as on 14th, we booked again, we had another driver who knew the place well, but the rates seems to be very high through these drivers. Strongly recommend the Front desk to use Uber Taxis which are better though and the Guest can pay them at their destination.

My complaint is that it is not neard Boston Logan Airport at all. It is really quite far, and there is alot of often alot of traffic at key times. The shuttle only arrives if you call, and it can take a very long time. The staff was efficient, but it is only an average hotel and not a walkable area for restaurants. The entrance arrival area is a bit questionable and not elegant. Over all I do not recommend this hotel. But I will add that the manager was very very nice.

Air con broken on an 81 degree boston day; when “fixed” still didn’t put out cool air; opened window at night, no screen. VERY NOISY; seedy hallways, but rooms are better. Clean crisp sheets and lots of pillows. Overpriced for what you get but I think it’s the location.
I thought the hotel was very cute. I loved the landscaping outside. It was between many of my destinations- Boston Salem etc. And this made things convenient for me during my stay. The room was nice for its value and quiet. I heard nothing but the noise of cars. It was a nice get away and a great place for its price. I had an awesome birthday
Staff were very nice and were quick to respond to the issue of water leaking from the roof.
Room was big, well furnished and overall clean when we arrived.
Hotel well located to visit both Boston and Salem.
Hotel staff quick to address the problem of air conditioning not working in our room. They found us another room within a couple of minutes. They also checked in to see if we were satisfied with the new room.
No breakfast. We needed a hotel for a night before a flight the next morning and we did not want to pay the rates for other places in Boston. However we did want clean and convenient and this hotel met both.
i stay in a few hotels this week. but this facility so far was the best. from the front desk to the breakfast confortable bed and great location. i will come back to stay again and again
Location, room, breakfast, etc. was all great. The only ting was that it was quite expensive compared to other hotels in a similar "class" from what I could tell.
