Comfort Inn & Suites, hotel in Ruckersville

Comfort Inn & Suites is located in Charlottesville, 12 km from Sheridan Snyder Tennis Center and 13 km from University of Virginia.

Location is close to the airport, and commute is going to be easier. Though it is near to the airport, I did not hear any disturbing noise from the airport like because the airport is small and not a busy airport. And the building has plenty of free parking spaces.

Hill of Content B&B, hotel in Ruckersville

Set within 23 km of James Madison's Montpelier and 48 km of Brandy Station Battlefield Park, Hill of Content B&B features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Radiant.

What not to like, the hosts Nance and Thom are so welcoming into their lovely home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity and for breakfast you can stay in as they prepare a fabulous breakfast with fruit (if in season) from their own back yard (which is huge btw). If you are going to Shenandoah and this place is avaible look no further! A place with a heart Ps.if you have the chance to be there at 5:30 you can enjoy a nice drink at their bar!

Round Hill Inn, hotel in Ruckersville

Featuring a 24-hour business center, a gym and an outdoor pool, this hotel in Orange, Virginia provides free WiFi in the guest rooms. The hotel is 36.3 km from Interstate 64.

Excellent in all respects - clean rooms, hallways and grounds. No noise - not traffic, train, fellow guests - blissfully quiet! The manager went the extra mile (plus some) when I had difficulty with my laptop and couldn’t accomplish my task on the guest computer in the lobby. All staff were very friendly. I look forward to returning in the future, as I had a very comfortable stay.

Ruckersville is a great little town, and its location just north of Charlottesville makes it a good place to stay while exploring the area. There are also many wineries nearby. R'ville has all the amenities one may need, including Walmart, CVS, Wendy's, etc., but we were happy to find very good local restaurants such as the Blue Ridge Cafe and Catering (had a really good lunch and dinner here), Rylie's Diner, tucked behind/in the basement of a small strip mall behind Wendy's, for breakfast or lunch (breakfast is wonderful; we went twice!), El Agave for delicious Mexican food, and Vinny's New York Pizza Co. We've also heard that Jack's Shop Kitchen is very good (check for hours). Ruckersville also has a huge number of antique shops; just drive around...you'll find them everywhere! Nearby Stanardsville has one of the most adorable craft shops I've ever seen. About 10 minutes west of R'ville (Rt. 33 W, then 328 Main Street), you'll find Noon Whistle Pottery in a renovated gas station. Their three floors boast a wide variety of arts and crafts: woven items, paintings and pastels, wood, metal, glass, jewelry, and of course, pottery of many styles. The owners are lovely people (artists) and are happy to help and answer questions.

    Just outside of Charlottesville.

Just outside of Charlottesville. Small enough to not be stressful and large enough to get you acclimated to Charlottesville, Washington, D.C., etc. The Blue Ridge Mountain Skyline Drive is just outside of Ruckersville - so incredibly beautiful. Washington, D.C. about 90 minutes away - avoid the hustle and bustle when you are ready to retire for the evening. Close to the presidents homes and other historic venues.
