The place was decorated beautifully and we were on the parade route for the Christmas parade. The restaurant was beautiful.

We stayed while visiting family in the area. Some of our family even came to the hotel while we were there to visit with us. Rothschild is close to many things in Central Wisconsin and has a lot to see and do.

people were good during the day, evening and night guy was our issue. Nightmare of a stay and do not recommend ever staying at this place.
The holiday inn across the street was superior just with a visit by one of our group visiting with ppl staying there. Much cleaner and much nicer place.

Connecting door to room next door must be thin, because it let noise in. People next door noisy all night and sound coming from connecting door not the walls

Despite the fact that a number of amenities were unavailable...
Despite the fact that a number of amenities were unavailable due to remodeling or coronavirus practices, my one-night stay was wonderful and relaxing. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Pet-friendly room. Location right off a main highway, easy to access. Right near a movie theater, grocery store, mall and restaurants. My room had a hot tub, and that was welcome after a long day of traveling. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

It's a small suburb close to Wausau, which is where we spent most of our time. Rothschild doesn't stand out as a destination, but is conveniently located to the highway and is a short distance to events happening in the surrounding towns.

We were just here to spend the night on the way to Door County. I liked the price of the room and that it was clean and comfortable and close to Denny’s. We will probably stay here again, maybe on the way home next week.
The coffee located in the entry was nice and also having a selection of cookies was a nice touch. The pool area was clean and the hot tub was nice to sit in and relax. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The TV was easy to use as well. The hotels free breakfast was good and it was nice that they were able to tell you what is for breakfast by placing it on the door of the breakfast area.
Stoney Creek Hotel is absolutely awesome. Staff was very accommodating to our needs and requests. The rooms are clean and attractive (love the North Woods theme!), and the pool/whirlpool/game room was a blast. The location, just off the interstate, is convenient to restaurants and all shopping needs. Breakfast included.
Had a problem with something there and it was taking care of immediately (problem was another guest nothing to do with hotel itself) the front desk man was able to resolve the issue right away.Plus was offered room upgrade that was not shown as an option on his site
The location was great. Easy to get to and right next to the expo center. The decor was really cute and gave the hotel a cabin feel. The hotel was quiet even with kids staying there for a sporting event.
Great hotel... Clean, super friendly staff... GIANT room that included kitchenette with full size fridge... Excellent pool and hot tube... Good breakfast... Would definitely stay again and recommend...
For a basic no frills hotel, it was fine. A cheap place to spend the night with bad weather. The clerk was prompt checking me in and it was quiet all night.
