The staff were amazing. We were due to leave early in the morning (before the complimentary breakfast). We asked if there were "to go" items that we could grab as we had a long drive ahead of us. The staff went above and beyond and gave us a variety of breakfast snacks to take with us, all ready for us when we checked out.

Reception was good, staff was good, location is good, can't agree more this was the perfect hotel for our family vacation ! Kids loved the breakfast and pool, within the same location there's mexican restaurant that you can go on a foot to have dinner with friends and family. I super recommend !

An absolute gem of a place. The décor is in keeping with the age of this guest house, built in the late 19th century. Possibly a bit overdone, but certainly not overpowering. The room was cosy, the bed was super comfortable and parking was a doddle. The main town is a short stroll away with plenty of high quality eateries nearby and I was able to borrow an umbrella as it was raining. The 24/7 tea station was put to good use on my arrival! The lady with whom I dealt with was very hospitable and knowledgeable. At night, I could occasionally hear the whistle of a freight train some miles distant, but for me personally, it added to the charm of the location. The breakfast selection was just right as were the portions. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who needs a comfy, homely place to stay.

The accommodations in terms of the property itself, were phenomenal. The owner of the property was extremely friendly and provided great ideas on best places to eat and visit during our stay. The view from every window was absolutely beautiful. The home was extremely spacious with wall to ceiling windows downstairs, so the scenic views were peaceful. Having nature so close to the house reminded me of my parents' home in Maryland, but their 2 acres don't boast of American eagles flying about!

Like, really friendly. Close to the beach. Town is not over ran with gas stations and Walmarts. There is one Walmart that was convenient

I used to live in Milton the next town north. Joined the USAF and left in 1970. The city has grown lots of things have changed. My stay was the last week of December it was winter and snowed part of the time. I am from Florida nd did not get out to see all I wanted
We loved the size of the room. It was very spacious and the decor was very modern and beautiful for a low-key hotel. We had a nice view of a semi-frozen lake (or river?) over the side parking lot. It may not be much to some but we loved it. We also loved the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was great!
Room was clean and beds were comfy. Love having a mini. Fridge and microwave. The breakfast was excellent with a nice variety and good coffee. Pool was fun and indoors was perfect but only if there are no more than 6 people it’s a tiny area.
this HI never disappoints. My go-to when visiting family in the area. The room smelled like wer dog when I entered it though, thats the only negative. they apparently knew this though, as they had freshener cannister under the air unit.
The Hotel is very clean, all of the staff members were very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk manager Samantha Shover. Our grand-daughter especially loved the pool and we loved the hot tub.
