Nate’s Cabin, hotel in Rainsville

Situated in Fort Payne in the Alabama region, Nate’s Cabin features accommodation with free private parking. The property has mountain views.

This cabin is indeed unique. We spent the day in the surrounding towns, and walked the quiet road from the cabin at night. We sat on the front porch each morning and was greeted by a local cat. The bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for us.

Great little town just outside of Fort Payne.

Great little town just outside of Fort Payne. Just miles from tons of hiking, biking, and camping areas. About 30 minutes from Little River Canyon National Preserve and 45 minutes from Desoto State Park. Tons of good places to eat. Also not far from Scottsboro and Guntersville. Great fishing and boating spots!

The Check in was great the young lady behind the desk was extremely helpful. Once I walked into the room I was immediately disappointed in the maintenance of it. The first thing you see is the drapery distressed and not hung properly and the inside pair tore to shreds. Going into the bathroom didn’t make me feel much better. There is a very poorly patched area on the wall, under that is missing tiles. The bathtub faucet has a constant trickle out of it that you can’t shut off and the shower curtain was torn off the rod. There two clocks in the room but neither were set at the correct time, not a big deal but when you are coming from a different time zone it’s helpful. I’m including pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. These are things I would expect in a flea bag hotel not a quality hotel, like yours. I wrote to the manager and the response I got from him was that the condition was all because of Covid-19.
