One of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at. You get a sweeping view of Hanalei Bay from the entire main floor of the hotel, including the restaurant and infinity pool. The staff members were all very friendly and attentive to any requests, and the rooms were totally comfortable and modern. The gym was incredible, and there are a bunch of free classes that we took advantage of and really enjoyed.
And if you're a plant lover like me, I have certainly never seen anywhere as nicely landscaped as this hotel, both inside and out. The entire feel of the place was magical.

We enjoyed the view of pool, courtyard gardens & ocean. The Tiki torches and firepit areas were delightful along with the live music every evening. There was plenty of seating around the pool and access to activities & a nice sidewalk along the beach. Overall very comfortable, clean, with good service and food.
Featuring an oceanfront location near Historic Kapaa town, this Hawaii accommodations offers an oceanfront lagoon-style swimming pool. Free WiFi is offered in all oceanfront guestrooms and the lobby.

The location is right on the beach! So it's perfect for morning walks and late-night strolls. The pool is clean and well-maintained. Towels and boogie boards even chairs were provided. The room itself is stocked with everything we needed, even forgot from a makeup mirror to a toaster oven, blender, pots, and pans! Exceptional!

Princeville as an area of Kauai is great.
Princeville as an area of Kauai is great. But your facility, not so great! We went to another hotel for our last 3 days of our 7 days in Kauai because of the reviews we read online prior to our purchase, because of the reviews we read before we booked with you. we wanted the view of Hanalei Bay/Bali Hai. It was poor at best. If your explanation of the property, logistics, and other buildings had very good views I'd have chosen those. I asked the hosts there if I could book directly with them so I could choose the building and orientation I wanted and they said no. Unless I could do that with VACASA I wouldn't come back.

The only problem with Princeville was the Booking.com description of the room. Booking.com did not allow pictures of the pool or landscape outside the complex and did not disclose the loft situation inside the condo. The Host was great and they tried to make the condo very nice but the location of the condo and the state of the condo was overly disappointing. We stay in Princeville all the time the area was not the disappointment it was the condition of the building, the workers putting on a new roof, no privacy to sit outside,
we love Tunnels Beach
Anini Beach, the beauty of the North Shore.

We had to drive to the beaches. Traffic was heavy by the condo, even at night. The sofa bed was horrible and should be replaced. Just not a great place to stay, and after not being able to get in, let alone earlier than 4, it was a disappointment.

Princeville is a resort community and is conceived as an earthly paradise. In some ways it is almost too perfect. If you are a golfer this must be heaven. The town is punctuated by rolling greenery and idyllic landscapes. My only criticism is that all commercial services require a car ride to obtain anything but it remains stunning for the eyes.

Princeville is in a great location elevated with wonderful ocean and mountain views. Just a couple of miles to historic, iconic Hanalei and more amazing views. It can be raining during some parts of the year, but the views are always amazing. It is a little far from Kapaa, Lihue, Walmart and major shopping, but there is a Foodland grocery nearby and more in Hanalei. This location is for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of tropical Hawaii. There are nice sidewalks for walking, golf courses and restaurants. Lots of condos, houses, and apartments to rent. Highly recommend getting away from it all and relaxing here.
A timeshare that doesn’t feel too much like one (a good thing), but has hefty and inexplicable “resort and check-in” fees, and will charge you 20 USD + taxes per day for your car. Nice grounds and gardens, a beautiful view onto the Bay, and spacious rooms, although they could benefit from an upgrade out of their Reagan style (and age). Very comfortable bedding. It shares a private beach with the 5-star Hotel "1 Hanalei", where we recommend you go and have a nice sunset cocktail!
The place was clean, easy to access, parking is easy too. Princeville is the best spot on the Northshore of the island. The location is very great. There is plenty of towels, utensil for cooking, honestly this place has everything you need for vacation. It had more than I expected. The host allows early check-in if possible, they were messaging me all the time to know if everything was ok. I really appreciate the attention.
Otherworldly location, very clean and new, nice restaurants/bars, great pools for adults and kids separately. Right on the beach, sunset views. Spacious rooms with calming design and lights. No plastic anywhere, sustainable concept with paper and wood etc. Many activities and things to do. Close to nature and hiking trail to beach and waterfall. Princeville has shopping opportunities.
The views & location of the property & condo were breathtaking, far exceeded our expectations. The condo is extremely impressive yet welcoming with comfortable decor. Also comes fully equipped with everything you could need for a fun filled day at the beach. The staff was extremely responsive, professional & kind. We will definitely make this our go-to destination when visiting Kauai!
Very impressed with landscaping and facilities, although disappointed that the time to rent sport equipment starts at 9am, especially because we were there for 1 day and checkout is at 10. I would have loved to use the basketball court or putting greens at 7 or 8 am. Also loved how spacious the unit was, the proximity to the view of the ocean and Hanalei.
The surrounding, lots of space both in the rooms and in the area, the amazing views, the nature and the location were great. The kitchen was really well equiped. Staff made it possible to check in early, even without previos notice. All in all we had a wonderful time in Princeville at the Makai Club Resort. Mahalo!
Gorgeous view of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai (I think). Short but steep walk to quiet protected beach and good snorkeling. Plenty of utensils, plates, bowls. AC works well. Convenient ground floor for older guests. The guys maintaining the grounds and driving the golf carts were pretty nice.
The home was both comfortable and beautiful. We especially appreciated a private bathroom for each bedroom as well as the spacious balcony/patio. We ate all meals outside and it was wonderful! We were grateful for the fans in two of the bedrooms as they didn’t have air conditioning.
keypad entry (no key needed to access house)
gift basket
fully stocked kitchen
guest info book
nice area close to princeville shops and in quiet neighborhood
beach items (chairs, boogey boards, etc) though we couldn't utilize them due to the crazy surf conditions and weather
This property was perfect for our group of 5. it was very clean and super quiet. The view from the balcony was spectacular! We spent 2 to 3 hours on it every morning drinking our coffee. We will definitely be back!!! It made our first trip to Hawaii magical!
The location was perfect with truly amazing views. Easy access to Hanalei and surrounding north shore beaches. The space was comfortable and was fully stocked with anything you could need to enjoy your time in Kauai.
Tho the roosters gave a wake up call, it was delightful. The pool are was very close. Workers were always on task. They had food trucks on the grounds. Hotel kept you apprised of events going on.
